Hey is there any way you can describe the process of sanding down that music master to the original finish? Im working on a 56 and im trying my best to find any information on doing this but im outo of luck

Guitar question: I’m making my own nut and when I took the old one out, the nitro clear on the head stock broke a bit. It looks like a rough white edge now. Can I wet sand it, or heat it up or clear over it again? Any thoughts are appreciated. Miss you! 🤟

Your channel is truly unique and your content is superb, standing out amidst a mass of very generic guitar content on UA-cam. Hang in there. Technical question; you rarely, if ever, seem to clear coat your vintage fender refins after laying down the color coat. Why is that?
Appreciate that greatly. 🙏 Regarding the clear, I find that a solid can very easily brought up to shine and that metallics tend to tint or get dull in their radiance with a top coat. Now translucents..... those I always clear over once I hit the hue and opacity desired. This way it stays during any leveling wetsanding or buffing. :)
