For any non comic fans wondering how Swamp Things power level watching him tank a bunch of tranquilisers, bear traps, take down people with guns etc. This is the weakest possible version of Swamp Thing, it's VERY early stage, hasn't got experience or grown his powers yet, not really in control of The Green, base avatar version and he's still epic. Full power Swamp Thing is basically a god

What about the lovecraftian root manipulation?why aren’t those guys being ripped apart from the inside out by insane growth? Yes, I know the chemical had something to do with it a few times, but the forest seems by no means to be limited by that.
Swamp-Thing's chemical alteration takes time, It's not instantaneous. And keep in mind this is him in his early conception; Swamp-Thing has yet to tap into his full potential.

@@aleaanderson6600 yeah I can't even watch the new transformers because of that. Not even sure how i can watch Walking Dead as its the same way but I guess at least its horror so it sorta fits. I can understand sometimes but transformers and super hero movies need more color. Its making me think its just a excuse to make the cgi easier for them by having so much darkness.
@@dmace81 Bumblebee doesn't have that awful color grading like the previous Transformers films, which is one of the major reasons why it's easier to watch. I mean, if many of the classic films can create atmosphere with natural lighting, without exaggerating the colors like a shortcut, why can't today's directors do the same?
The thing in the series moves far too jerkily to even remotely correspond to the creature pictured in the comics. Over all they managed to turn it into a teen jumpscare show with as banal lines as plot. Good riddance.

It was filmed in a real swamp, so filming was difficult and expensive. The incredible CGI came at a big cost too (worth it tho)
