- I found this 80´s NEO-PSYCHEDELIC nonstop file on a very old USB-stick -
I was surprised, that it still works -
Unfortunately there is no tracklist included -
it starts with the Dukes of Stratosphear -
and from 46:11 - 49:10 it is Kim Fowley jr. -
does anybody know the other bands?
Many many thanks to the music experts helping me making a tracklist!
Tracks are so far:
Dukes of Stratosphear - 25 O'Clock 00:00 - 04:55
Plan 9 - White Women 4:55 - 07:47
Broken Jug - It's gonna rain 36:00 - 38:40
Peter Sellers and The Hollywood Party - No Way Out 38:40 - 41:39
Kim Fowley Jr.- Face On The Factory Floor 46:11 - 49:10
Nick Haeffner? - Song from the bottom of the well 49:10 - 55:08
The Nomads - The Way (You Touch My Hand) 55:08 - end
The way the songs segue sounds like it's a college/ indie radio broadcast. It's well executed and the rarity of the songs shows the depth of the DJ's music base. The only ones I recognize are the 1st (Dukes of Stratosphear) & last (The Nomads).
Plan 9 - White Women ends around 35:58.
Almost positive that this version of "Song From the Bottom of a Well" is a B-side by Nick Haeffner, on the flip side of the single "The Master" in 1987. The original is from Kevin Ayers.
Thanks for your info
Kevin Ayers...that's a blast from past. Love me some Soft Machine, and all Kevin's music.
Mighty excellent collection of mind alterers here. I put Shazam on it briefly around 26:40 or so... nuttin'! However I feel confiddnt that the Illuminati will pick up on this collection eventually. Then we'll figure out who's who... I hope. Keep on keepin' on, man! Fantastisch!!
Iron Butterfly on some kind of drug.
wow cool, subbed!
Nach Kim Fowley von 49:10 - 55:15 kommt Kevin Ayers' Song from the bottom of the well. Allerdings scheint nicht Kevin Ayers selbst der Interpret zu sein.
36:00 is the Broken Jug from Germany Album is "William" / 38:40 is Peter Sellers and The Hollywood Party from Italy Track is "No Way Out" on of my favortites 80s neo garage songs

@@murieligel thanks!
It sounds like ‘dark side of the moon’ ‘clocks’ the bass riff on Pink Floyd’s ‘money?? ’. After that it’s 80s whatever, punky new wave blah. . Except at 2:56 organ sounds kinda cool.
4.58 Plan 9 - White Women
yes - you are right - it´s from the Dealing with the Dead LP Thank you very much!
