- Episode 2 of the XG documentary series. It is definitely starting to get into the tougher side of things that most normal people would never see. I am very pleased to see XGalaxy be so transparent as it helps those who are not in the industry understand what it is like to train to be an idol.

Simon even said, he was trying to instill team leadership and camaraderie in them, unforntunately Maju, was showing more of an 'individual' attitude. Understandable for her age and what not.
This is just the beginning..These girls went through a lot of struggles during trainee days..I’m so proud of all of them.
Seeing Chisa, Juria and Maya ranked at the bottom and being sent home makes me proud that they made the team. I think that experience lit a fire in them to improve. I can't imagine XG without those 3
Yep they need those 3 for vocals. It's just the dance training so far. There are still rap as well
The first few episodes are rough but it gets much much better. All the trials and tribulations make way way more sense once you start to get to the later episodes.

them removing members was as he said- to challenge them and to give other teams chance to scout a new member. but jurin's team decided to not scout a new one so it left one trainee without a group 😭
This is how the industry works whether you like it or not. Simon is teaching them how it is in the real world. It may be rough to you, but it is what it is. It made them tough and look at them now
Facts. If a trainee is going into this thinking they will be pampered or deserve it more than others, already failed before it begins in a lot of cases.

Japan’s idol system is different. While K-pop’s method is to train and debut as professionals, many Japanese idol groups just start performing. This builds a strong a foundation for the fan base as they see the girls improve with each performance. A fan can really get invested with a group. A group I follow is now in their 15th year. They started by doing free street performances, then live houses, then small arenas to sold out stadiums. For the fans it’s quite a ride!!!!

27:30 tho I understand your point, the world and the business will never be as forgiving as we want them to be, so doing things like these while they're trainees will be very substantial.
💯 And even I have experienced stuff like this albeit with far less significance and it does help to see if you are emotionally ready for what's to come.
That's for dance training so don't worry man. They nailed vocal training 👌 The best dancers there are Jurin, Cocona, Kamiya, Hinata, Chisa and Amy. There's a clip of them nailing their choreo of them wearing all black 🔥

I more so am making fun of my own abilities in comparison. I'm impressed by the fact they do all this at such a young age. The closest I got to something like this at that age was in football.
