After listening to this for a couple weeks, I have come to an unexpected occlusion.
This song is part of a grand (and wonderful) scheme to introduce the non-metal world to the kallos of teh growls.
Courtney is so 'approachable' as a human.... a great ambassador for Metal.

Great song and excellent group
Lots of Garbage influence vocally and phrasing. Add in a dash of Ministry, Spine Shank, NIN and you got quite the vibe. Its a great call back while being completely unique. Dan Braunstein crushing the production on this as well as Zev now writing the drum parts. Live, Josh from AILD adding some great undertones and harmonies giving great contrast to Courtney live. Solid song. 10/10 a banger

With few exceptions, bands have to change and evolve over time or else they risk stagnation and that's not fun for anyone. Obviously, not everyone will like those changes, but that's the risk you take when you're doing something creative.
