I said this on the first video too: These are definitely the best tips you can get for playing omen... I've been an omen one trick for my entire time playing omen and i love the fact he doesn't focus on flashy plays or being overagressive
My in-depth guides usually get 50k+, but I feel that this type of content is better for learning agents and abusing strategies that 100% work in ranked! ^^
Plat omen w 1000 hours and there are alot of new ideas that i didnt realise i could do even if its not on the map that i play omen on 😮 more of these pls!
Holy shit 78k subs and a raid by Hiko, my man is growing FAST. I remember 4k and the mask, and the content is better than ever! Can't wait to see that huge 100k
Man, I really wanted you and Hooj to do something together. Sucks that he doesn't want to work with anyone who does smurfing content. Thanks for these awesome videos man!
At the moment of my teleport it was a 4v2 scenario, and if my mentally unstable teammates actually rotated on "A Site" without fighting enemies and Sage did a revive, it would've been 4v3 scenario which is totally fine... especially because enemies will have less than 25 seconds to defuse the spike, which we can easily deny! ^^
Usually on a fresh new account, after 10 games, I'm already playing against Ascendant and Immortal players, which I think is 10x better for learning experience, rather than stomping LOW ELO lobbies with pure mechanical skill! ^^
at 0:44, you showed that smoke to cover the CT but in high elo, astra players usually do a deep smoke inside the tower which ultimately turns into a one-way smoke for the CT, isn't that better?
This setup is probably an adjustment for the lower elo lobbies. As a hardstuck gold myself, I find it difficult to confidently take B site when I am potentially exposed to heaven, under heaven, back hall, and B link all at the same time, especially when we don't have some recon ability to clear screens first. With his smokes, he reduces the possible threats into just B link and back hall, so his team would be much more inclined to actually enter B site with him.
@@julliferjosephtuba2202 I'm sorry but how does that smoke protect you from the B link? B link area is still open, isn't it? And yea, I see that how it also blocks the vision from the right side of the B halls but it also comes at the cost of opponents from halls/CT sneaking inside that smoke to play around it.
@@Aman-lt2dd I did say the only threats left are B link and back hall with this setup. And yes, the enemies can creep into back hall through the CT smoke, but usually in soloq, attackers all watch the spike from B long anyway. Although back hall control is powerful in post-plant scenarios, it is too difficult to maintain control of it with uncoordinated randoms. The tradeoff of giving up optimal post-plant for an easier site entry is very much worth it in soloq
@@julliferjosephtuba2202 ahh shit, i was so sleepy that I didn't completely understand what you were saying lol ohh so it's subjectively better smoke in scenarios when you can't maintain the B halls control otherwise if you can, the deep tower smoke for the CT is the key to go?
@@Aman-lt2dd Everything that you guys discussed in this comment section is correct! Anyways, majority of these tips (strats) are focused towards lobbies from IRON 1 to IMMORTAL 3, after Immortal 3 my strategies, tactics, mindset, executes and gameplay change for around 20% ^^
In the choke points I usually place smokes that allow me to dodge enemies utility (such as flash, boombot, etc.), for every scenario I have around 3 to 4 different smoke setups depending on how I want to counter or surprise enemies! ^^
Omen's smokes are semi-global, so you can still smoke for your team while lurking somewhere else on the map. Omen can also use his shrouded steps to cross cypher traps or sage walls without breaking them, making his lurk more effective. He also can use his own smoke to cover chamber trap to avoid detection. Omen's paranoia is a very strong support ability for entering site though, so try not to lurk too often and go with your team sometimes.
Every single match on attackers side (except on Breeze) I'd start with the mindset that I want to play with my team and I want to push bombsites or take map control together with my teammates. I'd completely stay away from any type of lurking on attack in the first 3 to maybe 5 rounds. It is better to rely on re-frag potential and test if this playstyle is going to work against enemies, instead of going on some solo missions that might get you killed (losing the numbers for your team) or maybe your teammates are going to die (be bad) and you'll be playing a game called retaking the spike on attackers side, which is something that should never happen to you. At the early stages of the game, you need to test your enemies and teammates, and see what playstyle will work the best for you in that specific game, and can you actually trust your teammates with bombsite executes and with the spike! Even when you're playing someone like Killjoy, Cypher or Sage - you're not useless when it comes to executing bombsites. For an example, if I'm playing on Ascent with Killjoy, in the first round on attackers side I'd never go for some pointless lurk. I'd always prioritize pushing something fast together with my teammates, because I simply don't know with who am I playing with and I need to learn how good or bad my teammates are, and whether or not I can actually trust them. So, let's say for an example in this first round you're pushing A fast together with your teammates. What I'd do if I'm playing Killjoy is this type of a setup: prnt.sc/ARvCAeAhUyTd I'm buying classic, light shield, nano and alarmbot. I'm using alarmbot to watch for our flank. Using the turrent as an entry fragging tool to reveal the enemies and to fight with us on the bombsite. Using nanoswarm to deny the space for the enemies on tower and under, so that they can't peek us from tower. And I'm pushing together with my teammates into the bombsite. With this setup you're helping your duelists and teammates a lot, by denying the space for the enemies and revealing their exact locations. A lot of the players play Cypher, Killjoy and Sage in a way where they're only useful as lurkers and in post-plant, but what they should do instead is deny the space for the enemies with their utility or use their utility as a recon tool to reveal the enemies. These agents are extremely useful when you're pushing the bombsites, the problem is that players never look at these characters in that specific way. It's very important to build this type of strategies on Cypher, Killjoy and Sage, especially if your teammates are way too passive or they're extremely bad when it comes to executing bombsites. For an example, you can use Cypher as duelist also. With his cages and camera, you can easily take map control from enemies and push bombsites in the same way as you'd do with any other duelist in the game: prnt.sc/ZWTxN1Y3Ym05 After 5 or 6 rounds in the match, I'm searching for some potential opportunities to lurk and maybe surprise enemies. But, if original playstyle is working for us (we're consistently +2 rounds diff from enemies), I'd just keep playing the teamplay game and support my teammates with my presence and utility! The only real time when you should go for lurks on attackers side is if you notice that you can punish some enemies by doing that, you notice that you can take alone some space control for your teammates, you notice that enemies are aggressive somewhere and you can punish them, and if you notice that your teammates are extremely bad and teamplay playstyle isn't working for you at all! And all of your plays (lurks) need to be based on some kind of an information that you've got in previous rounds, and that information you're collecting in the early stages of attackers side and abusing it later on... General rule for players should be that 90% of times on attack you want to support teammates and only around 10% of times you should be lurking in SoloQ!
how to improve on playing op? it on paper i feel seems like the easiest gun to get kills with yet i always fail with it,also, is it better to have it as hold or toggle?
Currently these type of routines I'm only sharing with my private coaching students, but I plan to make in future one video explaining this topic in-depth! ^^
I will be more confident using my omen tps. Btw did they reduce the sound on it? I could swear the tp location was almost as loud as the starting point (haven't played valo regularly in a while)
Playing controllers is definitely the most complex role where you need to think about multiple different factors (outcome potentials) when placing your utility. This setup I use as my default one when I have no idea how my teammates and enemies will play. On B site of Pearl all we need to do is get the front-site and back-site control, and preferably go onto B long to play post-plant, we shouldn't even fight for the whole site. Smokes are not walls, and every smoke can be used against you no matter how you place it, or your teammates can use it against enemies. It's better to look at smokes as a temporary block for enemies vision (some off and on angles from which your teammates can easily die) and fight for one sector at the time, instead of doing ultra deep smokes and allowing enemies to pick your teammates one by one. Also, my smoke setups differ depending in which rank I'm playing and how much I can trust my teammates! ^^
That specific smoke I'm using if I want to do some kind of an aggressive outplay or if I notice that my teammates are dying a lot in the B main area of the map. But for the first round, I'm using the smokes that are showcased in the video and then slowly adapting my setups based on what's happening in the match! ^^
Ofc, your playstyle fully depends on your teammates and what's happening in that particular game... that's why I'm always coaching players in a direction where they NEED to become adaptive players, in order to truly carry their soloq games! ^^

When fake TP on bind, if you jump into the tp while teleporting it is a lot easier to not mess up the fake tp making it very consistent.
