A fully-relog-proof flying machine is so amazing to have, especially with the small sim distance on realms.

No way observerless 2 way flying machine on BEDROCK. Nice work, this would have taken me so many hours.
Edit: not that I need them to be observerless, but if I ever wanted that, this is a great reference.

I have also played around with 2 observer less 2 way flying machines before. Never noticed it was as undeveloped to the community over all. I guess observer less tech is under developed in the entirety of redstone community for bedrock because we got it before we even got pistons.

Wayyy easier than the absolutely cursed machine I designed myself that just swaps the sticky and non-sticky on the classic Java flying machine. (mine works but I have never actually built it twice because I'd have to build it by hand)
So many problems had to be solved at once because slime blocks cannot move if any movable blocks are touching it but are also stopped by an unmovable block.

I'm starting to fidget with this idea because I'm trying to make a large piston door on a diagonal wall (like North South East West diagonal) but it seems annoying

Oh god playstation 4 edition is so cursed.
I've been doing redsyone in it for years thinking it was like bedrock.
But no, observers don't pulse when moved, so thank you for this observerless one, it maybe me the only way to do one there.
As moving a block in front of the observer usually bring the segment to about 13 block which obviously doesn't work

the original console editions are based on java, so i'd look up observerless java designs in that case

@@rubixtheslime Oh really? Though a lot of redstone ,at least for piston doors, is more similar to bedrock than anything.
      Well anyways, I'll check.
Thank you and have nice day

What I love about technical Bedrock tutorials is that they'll have a 5 minute explainer, then a foot note as long as the editor's cut of Lord of The Rings. This doesn't have that, simply because it's already that long. Tyty 🫡

Great video and great explanation of these concepts! I hadn't considered the advantages of observerless flying machines in Bedrock but this could really come in handy! 🏳‍⚧
(Side note do you have a mc server? I want to play with other technical players)
