that's the only common name for it! lol id say most average people dont even know the name of spaceship earth or what's inside the ride, but they do know the iconic symbol of epcot!
Hey! So I just got my lease and I was really hoping for the 4x2, so I’m trying to research this room type! Do you know if the partition is movable? Or like could it be completely removed?
No you can't really move it much/remove it because it is bolted in to both headboards. If you really wanted to, you might be able to un-attach them by removing the screws, but it would definitely be pretty difficult haha! The bed frames themselves are not attached to the headboard or partition though, so you are able to move the beds wherever you want :)
I notice that the two beds are nunbered, does Flamingo assign you to a specific side of the room or do you get to decide that with your roommate? Also, do you have the same move in time as your roommate?
We are assigned a bed space by Flamingo! They will assign your room in the apartment & the side of the room itself. And move-in day completely depends on your situation! To link with a roommate, you have to have the same move-in date, so if you are linked you'll move in at the same time. If you decide to have a random roommate, their move in/out dates could be completely different from yours!
Hi guys!! I was wondering how you were able to bring your cats along? I start my DCP in May and I’ve seen a few tours that have had cats in unit! I would LOVE to bring my boy with me if I’m able!
Thank you!! We actually got them from a poster calendar from cast connection! It was a 2023 calendar so I doubt it's still sold, but it was the Ann Shen Poster Calendar :)
I am in DCP start June 10th flying in early from Chicago. Can you vlog how you go shopping/Groceries And I have to do Web Courses frm my college while In DCP, any advice?
Sorry for how long this reply is haha! But we hope you have a great time on your program!! Congrats on making it in :) Yes we can definitely film one! The process is pretty easy for us since have a car down here though, so when we shop we just drive to target & bring a wagon with us to get everything back up to our room! For people that flew down there are a few options, though. There is a small target across the street from west, so a lot of people will just walk over with a wagon/cart (Flamingo Crossings has these available to rent for free if you don't bring one) or if you live at east you can take a bus to west then walk over. The other option is to take a bus. There is a bus route from Flamingo that goes to a super target & a Walmart that are a little farther away, so a lot of people will take a cart and ride that bus route to shop (it picks up/drops off every hour at the stores). As for classes, we just recommend great time management! You will be working a LOT of hours, so making sure to get your work done before & after working/on off days is very important. Getting stuff done early is especially important if you want to spend a lot of time in the parks for fun! We have a lot of friends that will go to resorts and/or the parks to study and work too, which seems really nice :)
Hi! Im moving into a 2x2 in a month and I am just curious. Is that lamp on the side of the bed included with flamingo or is that something you brought?
Yes, you can do the DCP while studying any major! As long as you're in college/just graduated you are eligible. In fact, Hannah is an elementary education major and Lauren is public/professional writing, so neither one really have nothing to do with our jobs here haha!
Yes, we've been having so much fun so far!! Everyone's experiences are obviously different, but we've been able to meet so many great people and do so many fun things here! We can't lie, it is definitely a lot of work though. Hannah works a minimum of 4 days a week with 8-10 hour shifts, and Lauren works a minimum of 5 days a week with shifts spanning from 6-12 hours, so it's definitely exhausting sometimes too. But if the work is something you'd be willing to do then we'd definitely always recommend!! For us, the great experiences we've had heavily outweigh the work and we don't regret it at all :)
OH MY GOSH- I never hear other people call Spaceship Earth “The Epcot Ball” but that’s what my family calls it!! 😂
yes that's what our family has always called it too haha!!
that's the only common name for it! lol id say most average people dont even know the name of spaceship earth or what's inside the ride, but they do know the iconic symbol of epcot!
would you mind doing a tour of flamingo itself? that would be cool to see
For sure! We already have our next few videos planned out, but keep an eye out in April and we will get it up!
Biscuit is the Main Character
Can you please measure the amount of space (from bed to floor) underneath the bed. Would be helpful when planning storage there for my DD. Thanks
We have actually already moved back home so we won't be able to anymore, sorry about that!!
Wow! Great Video!
Thank you!! We're glad you like it :)
Your kitty is so cute, I love this
Thank you!! She clearly loves being the center of attention haha! :)
Where did you get your lights? I love the design!
We actually got the fairy lights at Walmart back in like 2017 haha! And thank you!!

Both cats are Lauren's ESAs! Flamingo doesn't allow pets unless they are assistance animals of some sort.
Where did u guys get your prints from? Love em!

@@LandhRobertsomggg thank youuuu!!! Sooo muchh very helpful tips !!! I’m definitely gonna work early
Can I have a copy of that roommate agreement?
You allowed to bring your own cat?
How do you get to keep your critters
The cats are both Lauren's ESAs :) Flamingo only allows pets if they are assistance animals!

They are included! And they're attached to the wall, so you can't move or remove them!
I didn’t know you could have pets at FC!!
They are actually both Lauren's ESAs! FCV still doesn't allow pets as far as we know :)
@@LandhRoberts Okay, thank you!!
Does the DCP take Culinary, Hospitality and Business students?
Yes, you can do the DCP while studying any major! As long as you're in college/just graduated you are eligible. In fact, Hannah is an elementary education major and Lauren is public/professional writing, so neither one really have nothing to do with our jobs here haha!

Me too! I'm a culinary student by the way, and I wanna do business, hospitality etc...
I thought you weren’t allowed to have pets at flamingo crossings? Or has the policy changed now?
They are both Lauren's ESAs! Pets are still not allowed, but since they're assistance animals they are :)
❤ WOW you. Have done great.
Thanks!☺️
How do you have two cats?
They are Lauren's ESAs so they were allowed to come with us to Flamingo Crossings!
I thought you cant have a cat?
