This is a very nicely restored 1974 XR 75 DG Racer. It has the 82cc top end performance kit, DG frame and DG nickel plated pipe. Getting cranked up to the first time in quit a while.
Love that bike. I miss my 1980 xr 80. I installed long travel air shock with piggy back on rear, stiffened the front, made a custom pipe along with restoration. Man, I miss that little bike
kingdebary I remember them having the most pages in " Dirt Bike " magazine of any aftermarket parts company late 70's early 80's. My guess would be that aluminum heads were probably their biggest selling item until everybody went water cooled engines. Exhaust pipes, foot pegs, levers and swing too. Lots more other stuff I can't remember. And here a frame to. There was a couple of frame companies but they only made frames and swing arms and for only one motorcycle brand. Did anyone else even come close ?
Wow, that is probably the nicest little XR I have ever seen! Black and gold looks awesome. Very nice job!
Thanks!

That thing's awesome, what is the paint code on the gold rims and frame if you by chance happen to know? Thanks.

I had a 1975 xr75 with a DG pipe on it it was very loud and there was no packing in the exhaust baffle.
Very slow revving. Needs an inner rotor CDI
