I normally do that shot on a 4-1/2 x 9 pool table without the soaker reds to steer in near-misses. I'd never seen it done on a snooker table before. The only one commonly missed is the corner ball off the three-rail follow-up. The rest just find their way home if the setup is done correctly. Pretty awesome to see on a 12-footer.

I think when he lost his dad and hunter in the same year he never fully recovered. He was probably playing the best snooker in the world circa 2002-2003

seems silly that being blocked by the jaw of a pocket doesn't count as a snooker officially, is there a reason for that? wouldn't that mean that if there's no easy escape you could lose the frame for missing too many times?
It only affects if your opponent leaves you blocked by a jaw after a foul because it wouldn't be a Free ball for you, yet you can always ask him to play again from the final position.
@@CesarMuroya but isn't it true that if you're not snookered from the ball on, and you miss the shot too many times, you lose the frame? I'm sure I've seen that happen, am I misunderstanding that?

If being blocked by a jaw is declared 'officially snookered' from now on, you would not get any advantage when it's hard to escape. You think it'd help, but it wouldn't.

If someone is snookered, can they deliberately hit the white to move it to a place where the other player is snookered, but have no intention of hitting a red - i.e. they know it will be a foul but they want the other player to foul too so they get another chance? Or is that a foul?
