While most of my friends do, I felt like an outsider, trying to minimize her expenses on unecessary stuffs. Identifying the right investment can help you increase your earnings and accelerate your financial goals in tremendous ways. My earnings from stocks got me out of debt.
If you read "The Toyota Way", the principles will start resonating with you. In the book, they says, stick to tools which are tried and tested. Nowadays, it is all fluff and no stuff. Btw, Levis jeans are value for money (expensive) but the pockets are really deep and good. Most of the jeans have very shallow pockets at prices lower than Levis.
@@zenjm6496 right that's his choice. And it's not the case that if you spend much you won't become millionaire. You have to generate more income, that's it

I also have a question here, please let us know how can we cut on our taxes if we aren’t using property and vehicle debt as a way to do so (as highlighted in the book rich dad poor dad)?
You make it sound so simple but thats the hardest part in this 21st century we are filled with almost and infinite number of products and services you can think of most of it might not even have any value in your life from along term perspective but we yet tend to spend money when in posession of have adequate wealth wasting it on things that u pick up impulsively...
Gosh, your way of thinking about spending is exactly how I think. I prefer living in a rented flat, using Uber/Ola than owning a car, using wired earphones over the bluetooth ones mainly because I find the sound quality coming from the wires to be much better. One thing I was hoping you'd talk about, but you did not, was about the keyboard behind you. Are you into music? Would we ever get a chance to see you playing it?

The hardest life style to live with is Simplicity. Those who manage to do so create a good corpus over a long period of time can live their life to the fullest....
I'm 30 and although I'm not a millionaire yet, I should be a crorepati before turning 31! I agree with all 6 things you put forth in the video. Some pointers from my side: 1. I don't even own an i20 as Uber does the job equally well ;) 2. I stay away from real estate as it is something that I don't understand well. 3. I also subscribe to Netflix one or two months a year just to catch up on a couple of good shows now and then! Nevertheless I do have an annual subscription of Prime, Hotstar and Liv because they are super affordable. 4. I do own expensive Samsung buds, but only because I got them for free along with my mobile purchase! 5. I'm a coffee lover but not a fanatic to waste Rs400 on expensive Starbucks coffee. The office pantry coffee is good enough! 6. I rarely buy clothes as my 10 year old tees are just about good enough to pass off without anyone noticing how old they might be ;) Occasional purchases on Myntra do happen, mostly on my Mom's pestering since she knows how old my clothes actually are!
What's the point in living a cringy life, spend when ever necessary, not unnecessarily. That's the only thing. You dont have to be super saving all the time. Enjoy your life.

Convenience: because they’re so portable and easy to start using, i often take it with where I wouldn’t take normally carry headphones because of the wire hassle. Thus I’m able to watch something like this on UA-cam if i have some free time whole waiting somewhere etc. Noise cancellation: i have to work in a noisy environment so the noise cancellation makes it more bearable and i don’t have to turn the volume high Comfort: for the above reason i wear it all day and it’s still really comfortable Reliability: they always seemlessly connect without having to do anything manually
Loved this video, especially the point about luxury car. I do have those not-to-be-named headphones. I had to spend only 10k on them after reimbursements from office. I got them because I have the other products from that company and it works well with them. Having said that those headphones last at best a couple of years after which the battery becomes too weak. So, I will most probably not be replacing them.
I own Bose Wireless Headphones worth 35000, my company gave it away to all employees. They gave an option to choose the one you referred 20000+ , but still I went with Bose. So I am happy.
Your content is so helpful. ❤️ I have just one point to make. Inexpensive clothes generally represent fast fashion which is really harmful to the environment as it makes up a huge chunk of waste.
Good point. I use scooter , ola and uber for my commute. I use a basic Samsung phone as I don't have nothing big to do with Iphone. I have a land property in kerala and might buy land and never apartment in Bangalore where I live. I rent a place. Though I spend on clothes but not extensively.
Spending is also an art. Everything cannot be equated with savings. Have a 10%rule - buy big ticket items when you can buy it with 10% or less of liquid asset. Have fun (with responsibility ) while you can - who knows about next year.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Hope this video gets watched by those who need to learn about these simple things of life that make all the difference.
It is a mindset change, there are no easy ways to do it. Start making them realise, a simple step could be start with budgeting and ask your spouse to update the things in daily basis, spend 10-15 minutes together. There would be days when neither does it, telling you from experience, have been doing this. We reduced expense by 34% :)
I agree with all points, except one. Wireless earphones are a must have for convenience point of view. Of course not 18-20k. But I'm using 3k lenovo earbuds for past 2 years with almost 8 hours battery life. They're awesome and indespensible for me!
I really admire your video contents. Most of them resonate with my thought processes to a large extent, and in addition helps me acquire newer perspectives. Thank you for doing this on a consistent basis.
I always do that earphones thing. I find happiness in the less cost earphones like 399-499rs infact those fit very well and give nice sound effects. But my sister keeps telling that why do I need to keep replacing those during the event of damage & spend money again n again, instead I can buy ond branded expensive earphone. But till now I have never taken that step. Trust me I'm a hard core music lover and Singer myself 😅
create a multiple streams of income.. own a house, decent car, stay debt free. Once your other streams of income(not the main one.)+ interest + dividend income is more than your expense.. after that, you can enjoy a little. So you keep saving main income and enjoy on other streams.
Totally relatable about car, Goa, expensive headphones, expensive phone 😂( I just don't see the point), streaming services and clothes (I do buy expensive branded clothes but use them for longer term). I order takeaway on weekends and I do spend £3 on coffee on weekdays. I am trying to cut down on those spendings.
I fully concur with you on this. I am feeling guilty now for spending 9K on a wireless mouse (MX Master 3). In my defense, I use this product for 8+ hours a day and my wrists hurt less now.
Some food for thought: Businessmen purposefully buy multiple Luxury Cars to save tax by claiming depreciation. Goa and other coastal cities maybe in danger in due to fast-paced global warming.
I've been using expensive headphones (~15k) for almost 4 years now and I intend to use them for a couple of years more. I wear about 6-8 hours every day so considering that. I think it was a decent spend for me.
As long as you use it, I think it is good spend. But, if you had bought it for just the brand's sake, then it is an unnecessary investment. Disclaimer: I use 9k worth of headphones and never ever regretted buying it. I use it at least 4-6 hours day and makes my life a lot easier.

Start making them realise, a simple step could be start with budgeting and ask your spouse to update the things in daily basis, spend 10-15 minutes together. There would be days when neither does it, telling you from experience, have been doing this. We reduced expense by 34% :)
Become strict and tell ur wife u have goals ans inflation. After covid no one. Can afford to be financially illiterate
Awesome brother....learning a lot from you these days... thank you very very much for Sharing your knowledge and experience.
the "earless" had me laughing so much lol
What a knowledge..,. Demak karab yogaya
I agree with all points, except one. Wireless earphones are a must have for convenience point of view. Of course not 18-20k. But I'm using 3k lenovo earbuds for past 2 years with almost 8 hours battery life. They're awesome and indespensible for me!
unsuscribed from netflix and subscribed to skillshare. Absolutely love it.
Sir, where would one draw the line between " increasing the standard of living" Vs "Increase in expenses" ?
create a multiple streams of income.. own a house, decent car, stay debt free.
I absolutely agree with each point. Saving comes with this smart options. Thank you so much.
From an investment coach to lifestyle coach, i am enjoying and learning. I 100% agree with you. And worthy investment of my time this weekend
I fully concur with you on this. I am feeling guilty now for spending 9K on a wireless mouse (MX Master 3). In my defense, I use this product for 8+ hours a day and my wrists hurt less now.
You shouldn't feel guilty. What the hell !!!
9k wireless mouse is way less expensive than medical expenses :)
Some food for thought:
Businessmen purposefully buy multiple Luxury Cars to save tax by claiming depreciation.
Goa and other coastal cities maybe in danger in due to fast-paced global warming.
I've been using expensive headphones (~15k) for almost 4 years now and I intend to use them for a couple of years more. I wear about 6-8 hours every day so considering that. I think it was a decent spend for me.
I pray your battery remains good enough for that long !!
Yes
As long as you use it, I think it is good spend. But, if you had bought it for just the brand's sake, then it is an unnecessary investment.
Disclaimer: I use 9k worth of headphones and never ever regretted buying it. I use it at least 4-6 hours day and makes my life a lot easier.
