This ist REAL cooking. Thank you for the new insights to cooking several chicken in the same pot to get concentrated stock. In some cultures such chicken soup is regarded as an antibiotics. Winter may arrive. Now we are prepared 😉 .
6:43 Elghundgrå!!! (Or what we call an elkhound in English) I love this show and it’s nice you uploaded this episode now. The moose (elg in Norwegian) hunt has been happening and there are many photos and videos on social media from Norway and Sweden. And I know it’s symbolic, but eating the heart of the animal is a way to show respect to the animal you have hunted. Ha det! 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴
The chicken soup seems to die for. My daddy had an ice cream company. He didn't have "Honey" as a flavor! 😋 organs havd incredible amount of iron. The potatoes 😋. I come from a totally different part of the world. I watch you on WTTW & am normally surprised and possible combination of flavors. But my fiancé was born in Ireland. His palate is totally different from mine. I love to cook & want to make dishes he might enjoy. 💕
@@christinatweet6580 so that means I could have maybe a little more than 4% Scandinavian if I happen to have dna from Vikings that travelled elsewhere?
Upload more episodes, please. Thank you. I have been waiting so long for another episode to come

Kinda interesting he would cook the moose heart like renskav. Thought maybe he would cook it stuffed with herbs like angelica and etc.

What year was this episode made? Also I really want to travel to Scandinavia because I have 4% Scandinavian according to a dna test
This was originally aired June 1 2019
@@newscanman3603 are u Scandinavian yourself? Do u know some of your family tree?
Don't forget that Norsk DNA (i.e. Vikings) traveled all over the world 🌍🌎🌏 w/o paying attention to national boundaries

How do these people stay so fit and healthy? Every single dish is loaded with butter. And every other dish adds a bunch of cream.
