    I read ‘A Woman’s Worth’ in my early 20’s. It stamped my soul with a frame of thought of worthiness and joy for being a human that is specifically feminine. 30 years later, still feel her sentiments in my body. Marianne is the next level human we would like to emulate- so eloquent. Such substance to her character. Thank you Rich for bringing her on 🙏☑️

    Episode #663. Thank you. Rich, you brought out the best of Marianne. I was riveted all the way through and she kept coming up with more and more wisdom. I was a supporter of Marianne's presidential campaign and went to hear her in Rock Hill, SC. It was a day I treasure. It was hard in my community to vocally and physically support her. Too many of my friends and family did not understand the vision she was sharing and they harped on the sound bites. Keep going Marianne. Your way is true. Rich, keep pulling out the best of the humans. Your deep conversations are shining a light on the way forward.

    Excellent discussion. I can't help but think how this country would look like if decent people like Marianne were in charge. The staus quo will never disrupt itself.

      One wouldn't need her to be in charge, but she could be an advisor. Same with Trump, if Biden would have had a good business advisor maybe we would still have lower gas prices. Why fix something that wasn't broken. I think we do need to bring Rich, Huberman, Lex, on to the table to remold a new kind of politics. A round table of sorts.

    • @bigshooter461
      @bigshooter461 2 роки тому

      Treated by who? The fact you have the time to sit around and dream up bullshit about entitlement is a pretty good sign you're living in a good place, but you aren't grateful for what was fought for and provided to you, you think you deserve more?, maybe if working class people weren't burdened by these pocket picking Charleston's they would have more money to take care of their elders. There is an extremely complex system out there that divides families because the massive government and social system depends on it, and it's supported by political and corporate interests who maintain power when society is weak. It's easy to be stirred by a good story that gives you a focal point for blaime, but it should be a pretty clear tell when the people preaching peace and freedom are suggesting it comes from tearing down and destroying others. Ther kind of fascist socialism she suggests cost money, and that will jot come from her ilk, it will be piled on the backs of the working class.

    Great conversation Rich. I've been following along Marianne's journey since the late 80's. It was at that time she stepped up and became a vocal advocate for persons living with AIDS at a time when few did. She walked the talk and founded several non profit organizations for persons with AIDS that have severed thousands -- they still exist today. I have long since admired her.

    I’m commenting before watching the entire discussion. Leading up to the 30 minute mark, when the discussion was the shrinking of wealth/prosperity/middle class over the last 40-50 years, it brought to mind Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs: if humans are struggling with food, water, shelter, rest and don’t essentially feel safe emotionally or mentally, they will struggle with feeling love, respect, self esteem.

    Here's how big money can be taken out of politics - a separation of corporate and state. Marianne mentioned it when she talked about the separation of church and state. Replicate that with big money. Robert Reich also has ideas on how this can be accomplished. It's not impossible, just intimidating. This conversation was awesome - thank you!

I do believe I have found the candidate for president that I will be backing this election. I grew up with three Unity Churches within an easy drive, and I have two copies of A Course in Miracles. I've wanted to attend a full series of classes and never managed to then. So, I watched one of her videos on a Course in Miracles. I learned more from it than the ones that I attended years ago.

    "There is not enough love and goodness being ‘openly manifest’ on the planet to maintain life as we thought we knew it, or truly want to know it." Our large and small personal mistakes, wrong-doing, ignorance, justification and or arrogant positioning in darkness, if not corrected, leads to further abuse, suffering, harm and death. We were given free-will choice. Every choice matters.

    Rich, you keep mentioning going back to a more perfect democracy. I don’t think that ever existed. Those of us who have committed our lives to personal growth and spiritual evolution have an unprecedented opportunity to actualize global transformation.

    A relaxed, thoughtful, candid, insightful interview where presidential candidate, Marianne Williamson demonstrates humility in acknowledging being challenged by temper as an employer (at 1:33:39.)

    I love Marianne Williamson and she has got a pulse on what is needed for change in this country. Know what I was so afraid of if she became president? That she would be forced, committed or not, to kowtow to the big corps. that would be so sad.

    Marianne is brilliant!
    If one of our elected officials knew one quarter of what she knows, we would be lucky. Chosen Ignorance is one of our biggest challenges within the United States government.

    Great interview! I think the reason the Dems have terrible messaging is you can not serve capital and the people at the same time. You have to choose.

    I am working to buy some land and build a small wooden cabin where I can read a book looking over a vegetable patch, completely tucked away from everything and off grid. I think that will be just perfect.
