2:30 The friction coefficient is probably programmed as a function of wheel type and surface type. The cars have all sorts of tire types and are expected by players and programmers alike to travel on all sorts of surfaces. But, because programmers don't typically take the time to compute formulas they don't think will ever be used, the flanged steel wheels likely only have the one programed expectation: to be a steel wheel on a steel rails which provides incredibly low rolling resistance. Even though it's now on pavement, because it doesn't know better, it moves just as smoothly as before. Now as for why it bounced backwards after hitting the tunnel support five seconds prior in the video rather than just stopping, my guess is the coupler on the locomotive might be omitted from a collision formula due to collisions being mandatory for it's function as a coupler. Because the coupler met a wall and not another coupler, it had nothing it recognized it could transfer energy to which translates to no loss of inertia, hence the bounce. Either way, this video is "off the rails"!

No, it really shouldn't. Ear rape is a really annoying part of the internet. It's a video that is usually so low on the volume that you have to turn it up to 100% just to hear it, and then out of nowhere it gets as loud as possible. It's not funny, it's not creative, and it's certainly not cool or entertaining in any way. And another thing: People who are prone to panicking over loud noises could quite easily have a heart attack.
@@rxttwxler I don't much see this as a "womp womp" moment. Allow me to repeat the last part of my rambling: "People who are prone to panicking over loud noises could quite easily have a heart attack." That's what I hate most about ear rape. Not even the fact that it's loud, that part is just a minor annoyance. But it's when someone who is prone to panicking watches an ear rape video without knowing it's an ear rape video. 90% of ear rape videos don't even give warnings, and even if they do, it's usually hidden in the description, which next-to no one reads. I don't see giving someone a heart attack (intentionally or not) as "womp womp" I see it as messed up.

Gas stations rarely explode in real life because of something known as stoichiometry. Vapors collecting around the pumps might ignite but the bulk of the stored fuel doesn't explode since it doesn't have enough oxygen to burn, so at worst you'd likely see flames jetting out of the broken pipes, at least only until any underground pumps stop.

He says, sorry fellas, I must have been going a little too fast. While the cars are moaning and oh and ah, in there smaller voices, while they all chime in saying trains don’t belong on the roads, they belong on the track.

The system does not translate the earth with sod, flowers, grasses into account and when the train derails, unfortunately there is no big bunches of ruts being ejected into the air by the heavy train. Plus, I would think it would really dig in to the point the stop would be quite abrupt with tons of earth in front of the get-a-way trains. The ghost physics later showed me what you are limited by with the software.
