Absolutely sad. I went to one in Clearwater FL, and after 15 min driving on the boat, the captain told us it was too windy for us to go Bc a storm was a couple miles out. So he said we can get a full refund, and on top the free boat ride. Felt sad when he told us, but now I see what he means. Rip to the mother.
He cut the line to save his boat???? He think his boat is more valuable than the victim's life???? You can replace the boat, you can't replace her life.
The sad part of all this after someone yelling and screaming for help you cut the cable which was there lifeline. That man intentionally killed that woman and injuring those little kids
This is horrific. I was in Clearwater last November, rented a Jet Ski with my brother, unfortunately it was defective and we went down in the ocean and were stuck there for over 10 minutes. Would have been dead if not for the life jackets. I absolutely enjoyed Florida but they need to step up with water sport safety.
When we did parasiling first time in 2015 we cancelled twice for bad weather....absolutely captain here is nuts or hold some kind of grudge towards skin color I guess..No one in right mind cut the rope...Can't imagine the trauma the kids gonna be in for their lifetime
This is heartbreaking. No amount of money will bring that beautiful mother back, but it can make life easier for her family and I know the medical bills are probably astronomical.

This is a tragedy on all involved, the death, survivors,and families of this horrible event. I would guess the parasail owner/operator and their families are distraught as well. However regulations should only be used in a very limited scope. They're needed where people have no idea of the danger of living free of authoritative tyranny, and would prefer no free will in making decisions leaving that up to the government to "force their expertise" on to all of society, and generate revenue off people who don't comply. Freedom is dangerous. A free market, which we don't have, would take care of dangerous entities ability to do business, and the trial lawyers would make their case and money against individuals who knowingly put people at risk
