Starr is Bill Russell to Johnny U's Chamberlain. Better teams surrounding the Star player. New respect for Bart though. Just like recently I realized how Athletic Russell was. Wonderful Video.
I completely agree with your list, and particularly agree with your assessment of Bart Starr…. Five NFL championships…. There was one season, maybe 1966, where he carried the offense…. A fantastic leader who really doesn’t get his due, if you ask me. Unitas was a great player but if I had to choose, I’d take Starr over him easily….

Nice list. I think Bart Starr is underrated because his cumulative stats are lower compared to others, but as you say he had far and away the highest completion percentage for the decade. I'll take the Johnny Unitas rookie PSA 10. Oh wait, you're not giving one of those away??? Okay, I'll let someone else take the other cards.
@@9Ballr at first I thought Unitas would get the first spot, especially with his 2 MVPs and Starrs low yards and TD numbers. But the longer I considered Start and dug deeper, I had to put him first.

You're, correct, his numbers were fabulous, but I think that he retired in '64 (?) and his numbers didn't quite compare to the guys that played the entire decade. Maybe I will do a video of the '50's quarterbacks at some point that he will be a part of.

@FreeSportsCards-c8r Namath was drafted in 1965 and won the third Super Bowl and put the AFL on the map in January of 1969.

If you take into context the teams they played for, Jurgensen is far above the rest. He played on some horrible teams.
