One of my favourite lines by Ratchet “The lies I’ve told, the lives I’ve ruined! This isn’t helping me” and “Oh my gosh! I’m as crazy as my mother!”, just the sudden realisation of his own actions.
Fender dancing to "Baby, One More Time" will always be hilarious. This whole movie is incredible. I especially love the scenes with Madam Gasket. Such an underrated villain.
The real reason Bigweld stepped down isn't because of the dominoes. It's because Rachet and Madam Gasket convinced him he was to outmoded to run the company anymore. And he tells Rodney as much. Rachet only mentioned the dominoes to try and distract him. I hope that helps.
Yeah, Rachet did mentioned the dominoes when he returned. Also, it surprises me how most people don’t pay close attention to the details or, at least, the dialogue when the exposition is the most important part in any form of storytelling. Oh well, I’m glad that we’re in the same team, Dan. More or less. 😉
This movie, while not deeply moving or inspiring, is just a good, fun movie that has just enough double--entendre and adult humor for the parents to keep everyone laughing and enjoying it.
I remember having this movie on DVD, and it was honestly pretty fun to see what the world would be like if everyone was a robot. Although, I’m going to be honest. I’m probably the last guy to find out Amanda Bynes was in this movie. 😅
@@CreeperBoyGamingyt She was a popular actress and celebrity along with Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton back in the 90's and early 2000's. Then, like Lohan, the partying took over and she ruined her career.
Singin' in the Rain is indeed a movie (from 1952) and it is about actors (and studios) dealing with the transition from silent films to talking films in the 1920's. It is a fun charming little movie.
Since you seem to be checking out robot movies, you should definitely check out the 2009 Astro Boy movie. It's seriously underrated and a lot of fun!!!
Yes! I just watched it for the first time! It hit very hard as someone with autism with no friends, but especially harder when you reconsider the circumstances surrounding Robin Williams' death.
I loved this one thank you for your reaction. Another movie you should check out is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, it has a clinically depressed robot
Piper's feelings for Rodney were more like a crush, and not actual love. She was Bender's little sister, after all, and still too young for a serious relationship.
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but no one should be sending you hate messages because you had a differing opinion. As someone who did watch it as a kid, I understand your criticisms and appreciate your take. Cheers!
Madame Gasket is voiced by Jim Broadbent so she does have a male voice 😅 there is such an insane cast on this movie The chop shop song is just so good as well!
I originally watched this movie because I couldn't pass up anything that had both Robin Williams and Mel Brooks. I wasn't expecting much other than that. In the two or three dozen viewings since then, I still haven't found the disappointing aspect. But I will continue to look for it again, and again, and again... 😉
This such a fun movie! The laughing never stops! My favorite part is the Singing in the Rain scene. Thanks Robin Williams... Rip💐 Great cast and great animation for 2005! Thanks for sharing Mary Cherry 🍒
Lot of animation movies got not the respect they needed. Got this on DVD and still one of my favorite ones. Love the theme that alt the things are robotized. Just as in Cars that everything is a car, even the bugs. Big fan of animation films. Thanx for watching and reacting on this one. And i've got also the Ice Age movies (love them all).
Man, this movie gives me so much nostalgia. I grew up watching Robots, and it was one of my favorite movies, if not my number 1 fav. My family loved it so much we got 2 CDs of it so me and my brother could have one each! But the sweepers terrified me lol
I saw this in the theater when it came out while on a field trip with a special needs class that I was a teacher assistant for my senior year of high school. It's a good movie 😊
I love this movie! Robin Williams was on point goofball comedy relief....and Aunt Fannie! My favorite line though is when Rodney Copperbottom hits Bigweld in the head with that microphone thing and said, "Oh my God! I'm crazy as my mother!" For some reason that gets me every time! Plus you gotta love the message - See a Need, Fill a Need.
I totally understand your summation of the movie, and I agree that it was probably because you were not the intended target. Looking back on it, definitely more geared (pun intended) towards kids.
I've always loved this movie and I never realized it was Ewan McGregor voicing Rodney until I recognized his voice from "Star Wars". I hope you react to the movie "The Island" also starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Joanson
I actually attended the Critics' Screening of this movie as a high school sophomore without knowing. I accidentally ended up spoiling it for friends because I didn't realize it wasn't coming out for 2 months 😂🤣😂
I watched this movie when it came out as a kid and when i left the theater i met a couple of cosplayers that was dressed as star wars characters and took a pic with Darth Vader one of my favorite memories and favorite movie.
"Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockleshells. And pretty maids all in a row." Please react to The Secret Garden (1993) with Kate Maberly sometime. Thanks! RIP Robin Williams.
Since this came out the year after Revenge of the Sith ad Ewan McGregor voices Rodney, I always thought it’d be funny if they ever did something like an SNL skit or short story where Rodney is in the Star Wars universe and tries to get a job in a droid factory.
🤖👍 When people think of CGI animation, it always defaults to either Disney/Pixar or Dreamworks. During it's 17 year existence, Blue Sky studios also put out a whole lot of really good fast-paced movies like this. While everyone already knows about the "Ice Age" franchise, others worth checking out are "Rio" (2011), "Epic" (2013), "Ferdinand" (2017) and "Spies In Disguise" (2019). I have no idea how you would react to them, but I will say that they're all relatively short and feature a whole lot of celebrity vocal talent. 😉
This was my childhood. One of the only animated films I liked. Hated all them Disney princess ones soo much, didn't like Tarzan and lots of others. My childhood was mostly live action with some Pixar, Cars 1 only, monsters Inc, toy story 1 and 2 only, Nemo, Ratatouille. Also Shrek. But yeah this took the top of them all! Didn't feel like a kids film one bit. Wasn't talking down or being dumb, non of that kiddy film bs. It was sooo good! It still is soo good!

Fun Fact: There's two Star Wars actors in this film: James with his Darth Vader voice and Ewan McGregor, who did prequels Obi-wan...😊
Could you make a reaction to Dear John, The Longest Ride, and The Best of Me?
One of my favourite lines by Ratchet “The lies I’ve told, the lives I’ve ruined! This isn’t helping me” and “Oh my gosh! I’m as crazy as my mother!”, just the sudden realisation of his own actions.
Yeah lol 😂😂😂

I remember when I was little my dad pulled me out of school near the end of the day to take me the theater to see this
That's pretty cool.
Brought to you by the creators of Ice Age. RIP Blue Sky Studios.
I never knew Ewan McGregor did animation. I’ll always remember him as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Surprising, right? Imagine my reaction when I later realized that he’s actually Scottish like James McAvoy portraying Charles Xavier.
He also played the lead in Valliant about a WWII carrier pigeon:)
@@Jemini4228 Whoo, now that’s a throwback
Wait what?!?
@@Jemini4228 That was Ewen McGregor? He sounded so young in that movie, I thought they just got some no-name starting out voice actor for that role.

R.I.P. Robin Williams

RIP James Earl Jones
you gotta hand it to them for doing every single robot joke imaginable
For some other amazing and underrated movies with Robin Williams, "One Hour Photo" and "Insomnia" are a couple of my personal favorites.
I kind of want to hear Mary do an American accent now.
Piper is voiced by Amanda Bynes.
Honestly, I remember this film as a child and I enjoyed it. The entire cast of this film is incredible including Robin Williams.🌹❤️😢
The amount of adult jokes in this movie is perfect. Robin Williams was the cherry on top in this film
Some awesome robot movies :
Automata.
Bicentennial man.
Real steel.

Short circuit 1&2
Batteries not included ( robot/alien movie)
Death Machine.
WALL-E
Not Quite Human

Besides dying, what happened to him to make me feel sorry for him?
For a Robin Williams movie that is emotional with a good story watch Bicentennial Man.

As robot movies go, you need to watch the movies Short Circuit, and its sequal, Short Circuit 2.
Number 5. :)
It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized turning outmodes into scrap is symbolic of organ harvesting.
It's a fun, light movie, with some good points in there, too. It's one of my go-to laundry day movies I can fold clothes and watch.
That fart scene will never stop being funny😂
