As a rare Panpour & Pansage enjoyer before this video. I am very pleased to see those Elemental Monkeys show their true strength throughout this video. Making them the true kings of this journey.
The first Pokemon that came to mind as a hall-of-famer has to be the Medicham who almost solo'd a seemingly-finished run. I forget the name or the video but it was a truly heroic experience.

I personally dont agree with lil fly and eclair as much, but queen basalt is obviously the most important one
Queen Basalt is a necessity. And, as the person who was partially responsible for Sofa's name, it was a pleasure to get to watch most of this live! I've been very excited for the video ever since you finished Blaze Black, and I'm happy to see it's finally here. What a ride!
My condolences for the loss of Stool the Psyduck. He was an integral part of the team. The team is not the same without him. We will never forget him. 😔
This video takes me on a trip down memory lane, as I played Blaze Black back in 2011 during my middle school days. I was one of those kids who thought the normal game was too easy and opted for Blaze Black as my initial playthrough for Gen 5. I wrote a blog with screenshots and videos documenting how I beat it, which, miraculously, is still available online today. Although the screenshot links are broken, I managed to locate my videos on a video website that I haven't accessed in years... My team was Simipour, Zoroark, Mienshao, Shiny Sandshrew for TMs, and Archeops, along with the Contrary Serperior that used Leaf Storm and Draco Meteor(final few battles) to dominate the endgame. It was a casual playthrough and the only rule was no intentional overleveling, and there weren't as many double or rotational battles in the earlier version I played. For the end game I was also naturally a bit overleveled (hence had Draco on Serp). However, the early game was indeed brutal, and the battle against Lenora was a nightmare (probably took 3 attempts with some overleveling). As I watched your playthrough, I found myself empathizing with you, especially during your battle against her Bouffalant. The sand storm themed Clay team was also memorable. At this point I'm just spitballing haha... Nice video as always FlygonHG!
The sheer disrespect to Stool... He died for your cause. He stood there and lived a hit because he thought you would be proud of him. He went down for the sake of the battle and the run. And you thank him by purposefully mocking his death, pretending to forget his name, and using his grieving family as an excuse to boost your own goals. Good Dr. Oneball, I have never been more disappointed in you in my long devotion to this channel. Be better.

One I haven't seen mentioned is the 4 bunnies from your sword and shield locke. I agree that you best carry the spirit of a nuzlocke with how well you infuse your lockes with meaning and story. It makes it a good time. I can honestly say I don't know any one pokemon from other nuzlockers runs. But people say the Comfort Goodra or Peach or Queen Basalt and I know what they are talking about. I remember Thanos and his crazy crits costing you a run. Such a great content creator.
Thanos the liepard/purrloin absolutely deserves to be in the hall of fame, maybe not a video but def an honorable mention cause that cute little guy who murders all he meets is ubiquitous and iconic
You may not see it, but Thanos was the most powerful pokemon Flygon ever had. You may be thinking he failed at the dark type challange, but he was more than capable of winning the League by bimself, he just didn't want to. When he crit twice in a row, you saw a fraction of his true power, which he used to ensure the completion of his goals of world salvation. And by the way, he was obviously faking his "death", after all how could the Thanos lineage exist if he was dead before having children
I love having the looooooong videos on a Saturday! I know you mentioned on Twitter you're not 100% feeling the Saturday releases, and I'm totally down for whatever you decide to do. I just liked being able to watch this in chunks over my day off! Thanks for the amazing content!!!
Monkey from the Sinoh fire run definitely deserves a spot. He may not have won, but soloing the entire game elsewise is more than enough to earn a spot
A panpour named Maki was one of my core teammates during the most fun nuzlocke I've ever played, & I've had a real soft spot for the little guys ever since. Love seeing a little respect put on the monkeys names :")
I always look forward to these videos. They are strangely calming, genuinely funny, and, since you used my favorite starter of this gen, I - of course - have to watch it immediately. For me it's the sleepytime trifecta: chill, funny, and something I love. Thanks for all you do. 💗 Also, QUEEN BASALT!

I love the idea of a hall of fame! Workbench and Waterbed definitely deserve to be considered for it. That makes me think, how about a Hall of Shame run? A chance for the suckers to redeem themselves in a new run, Shelving would be an obvious pick for sure! Love the content, the E4 + N and Ghestis stream was extremely fun and nerve racking, keep up the great content :D
Peach from your second attempt on Renegade Platinum wiping through several Pokemon without any mercy is definitely worthy of being in the HG Hall of Fame!
This right here is why you are my favorite Nuzlocker! Fantastic content and your best video to date. The writing, the editing, the drama - very entertaining!
My favorite nuzlocke of yours was your normal type monolocke of fire red so I thought I’d recommend a two hall of fame members from that run! First and foremost Rat the Raticate! Rat is the true embodiment of all the guts fuelled rat power in the world, and that deserves recognition! Secondly Duck the Farfetch’d! I mean come on Duck was a champ. Remember when he almost one shot a Victreebell? That sure was something!
I haven't watched the full video yet, so I don't know how Waterbed's story plays out. But it reminded me of the first nuzlocke I ever did. I played Pokemon White for my first nuzlocke, and the Panpour I received survived for almost the entire run and was one of the main party members, she even outlived my starter! Unfortunately, Simipour died during the final battle with Ghetsis :(
I've been here a long while. Your videos have helped me sleep, and I learned so much about competitive just from your videos. And the one who sticks out the most is Queen Basalt from the Ground Type Nuzlocke.
My very first FlygonHG video was the fire type monolocke PChal reacted to, and to this day I think your volcarona from that run was the MVP of almost any run from that earlier era. Easily top 5 in the Hall of Fame category of power. Beep beep pony goes in the Hall of Fame category for running memes though.
Way to go, dude. My sincere and heartfelt congratulations for completing such an intense romhack in one attempt, you're really showing your stuff as a nuzlocker. Keep up the great work (and have fun while doing it), and take care of yourself, Dr. HG.
Great video and narrative as always. It's always great that i can watch both the highlights and the main released video and receive varied content for the same run.
was there live, and now watching the video of it. banger so far! Favorite legends from previous runs must be Eclair the umbreon and Alpha from the spheal team 6! hope the next vid is also gonna be this good quality! keep it going!
Some hall of fame candidates: Aquapanna the Golduck from the emerald water monolocke. Too slow and too weak, a deserving member. Fescue the Carnivine from the platinum grass Locke. He saw his shot and took it. And of course, Duck. Enough said.
That actually would’ve been really cool for the first gym. Instead of having it where you only fight one of them with 2 Pokémon, you fight all 3 with a rotation battle in black/rotation battle in white.
Definitely my new favorite run from the channel. It was insane how after insanely bad luck and harsh losses, there's always a way to move forward in the run.
Man, the mid to end game battles in this one were so f***ing clean! One year and a half subscribed to this channel and you still impresses me. You play amazingly and improved a lot. Not exagerating here, I was astonished watching some of these battles. I'd love to play as good as you.
Watched the VODs/highlights for this series but your commentary and the editing of these vids is so engaging that I had to watch this one too. Insane run.
I am glad somebody pointed it out. People appreciate Peach the Luvdisc like they should for shining so much in the second run, but they don't know how much offscreen work Unagi did in Run 1. And I think Unagi might have even come out alive from Mars and Jupiter double battle if it knew light screen.
Been waiting for this video! Gotta say, the fact you thought of hyping up the very last critical hit of the run by prefacing it like you did was narrative genius
My personal "FlygonHG's Hall of Fame" candidates: -Rules: Only one mon per project 1. Basalt the Nincada 2. Thanos the Purrloin 3. Beep-Beep-Pony the Girafarig 4. Peach the Luvdisc 5. Milly the Ratticate 6. LilFly the Yanma Honorable mentions: -Monke the Infernape -Boobisaur the Bulbasaur I. -Arsenic the Beedrill -Paul Dano the Audino -Waterbed the Simisage
Imo there’s an argument for both cow and monke to fit in the list. Yes, they were both in the same run, but they literally did the ENTIRE RUN BY THEMSELVES, so I think it’s deserved
You HAVE to have Raticate as one of your Hall of Fame Pokémon, I mean who can say no to *RAT POWER.* Maybe spheal too? As a nod to the almighty spheal team 6 obviously..
The G in emolga is definitely hard, like in Ghastly. Seems like interpreters all agree it was a play on "electric" and "momonga" which means flying squirrel. Most accurately, it should've been emonga.
Yeah he just likes pronouncing pokemon names funny. I forgot which one caught me off guard first, but he actually explains in at least one video that he doesn't do it so that people will comment about it, but because he's just goofy and likes saying them wrong. I like doing that too, when I play the games so, I can't blame him 😅
the thing i love most about drayano romhacks is all the changes he makes to pokemon and how wonderfully he documents all his changes there are so many difficulty romhacks or fan games where there are close to no documentations where it just makes the whole experience frustrating for the wrong reasons
great work, Dr HG! watching the highlights as you played these was a lot of fun, too. of course you couldn't fit every moment into the main channel video, but since it is a "new" version of the game to me, it I felt like I was playing a new game too. I know I probably won't end up playing Blaze Black myself anytime soon due to my work schedule, but your videos scratched that itch!
I LOVE the choice to not use set-up moves. It's a totally valid way to beat a Nuzlocke ofc, but the restriction makes for so much more varied and interesting strategies from a pro player like you. Peak content.

I've been here a long while. Your videos have helped me sleep, and I learned so much about competitive just from your videos.
And the one who sticks out the most is Queen Basalt from the Ground Type Nuzlocke.
for someone who doesn't like cats flygon really gets the hardest working purrloins I've ever seen
The hall of fame for sure needs the Cherry Pie Spinda and anyone on the Spheal team 6, mainly the one who made his valiant sacrifice!
Nullllllll yess
spheal team 6 is 100% deserving of the hall of fame. Yes the whole team.
My first thought for the hall of fame is Queen Basalt... Maybe not the best Pokémon, but a memorable member of the team.
HG.
I watched all of the highlights, that makes me very excited to see it all in one video! Hats off to you, Doctor Flygon!
Some hall of fame candidates:
Aquapanna the Golduck from the emerald water monolocke.
That god killing luvdisk was a personal favorite for me
Man, the mid to end game battles in this one were so f***ing clean! One year and a half subscribed to this channel and you still impresses me. You play amazingly and improved a lot. Not exagerating here, I was astonished watching some of these battles. I'd love to play as good as you.
Flygon × Drayano game is a match made in heaven!! These streams were so much fun
Watched the VODs/highlights for this series but your commentary and the editing of these vids is so engaging that I had to watch this one too. Insane run.
This was one of the greatest runs to see ever, very well played Flygon.
The pronunciation of tuffet is cracking me up because all I can think about now is Little Miss Muppay sitting on her tuffay.
Unagi the Milotic from Renegade Plat deserves to be there. Absolute legend that carried so much of both attempts
I am glad somebody pointed it out. People appreciate Peach the Luvdisc like they should for shining so much in the second run, but they don't know how much offscreen work Unagi did in Run 1. And I think Unagi might have even come out alive from Mars and Jupiter double battle if it knew light screen.
@@veenadayma6514 Oh for sure. Watching the highlights really emphasizd how much work Unagi put in in both runs but especially 1
Been waiting for this video! Gotta say, the fact you thought of hyping up the very last critical hit of the run by prefacing it like you did was narrative genius
The Muk from HGSS Team Rocket is an all star for me, especially that final performance against Red.
That scream at 1:07:05 was the most real, raw, emotional shout that I’ve ever heard. You can tell that he was stressed asf over that choice 😅
A powerful Raticate to showcase RAT POWER belongs alongside the greats like Lil Fly and Queen Basalt
QUEEN BASALT DESERVES TO BE IN THE HALL OF FAME
My personal "FlygonHG's Hall of Fame" candidates:
-Rules: Only one mon per project
1. Basalt the Nincada
2. Thanos the Purrloin
3. Beep-Beep-Pony the Girafarig
4. Peach the Luvdisc
5. Milly the Ratticate
6. LilFly the Yanma
Honorable mentions:
-Monke the Infernape
-Boobisaur the Bulbasaur I.
-Arsenic the Beedrill
-Paul Dano the Audino
-Waterbed the Simisage
Greebo the Sprigitito from the Violet catlocke
Don’t forget Barry’s snorlax from renegade platinum
@@Ytekai_ I only mentioned Pokémon he'd personally owned
Imo there’s an argument for both cow and monke to fit in the list. Yes, they were both in the same run, but they literally did the ENTIRE RUN BY THEMSELVES, so I think it’s deserved
@@frozenbonkchoy4986 But cow did nothing important if I remember correctly xD
I could say Thanos the liepard and both your mons from diamond fire only run deserve a place in hall of fame
You HAVE to have Raticate as one of your Hall of Fame Pokémon, I mean who can say no to *RAT POWER.* Maybe spheal too? As a nod to the almighty spheal team 6 obviously..
Obviously the meme trio of Thanos, Queen Basalt, and Beep Beep Pony. They still get mentioned to this day in videos
Oh, and the elusive Carbink of course
We all know who deserves a place in this hall of fame, for he is perfectly balanced, as all things should be
That sad piano music followed by a clip of Flygon's dejected face has become a meme at this point
The G in emolga is definitely hard, like in Ghastly. Seems like interpreters all agree it was a play on "electric" and "momonga" which means flying squirrel. Most accurately, it should've been emonga.
flygon pronouncing emolga like that is a running gag. he knows how it’s meant to be pronounced, he just does it to make commenters mad.
Yeah he just likes pronouncing pokemon names funny. I forgot which one caught me off guard first, but he actually explains in at least one video that he doesn't do it so that people will comment about it, but because he's just goofy and likes saying them wrong. I like doing that too, when I play the games so, I can't blame him 😅
the thing i love most about drayano romhacks is all the changes he makes to pokemon and how wonderfully he documents all his changes
there are so many difficulty romhacks or fan games where there are close to no documentations where it just makes the whole experience frustrating for the wrong reasons
I’m so excited for HG to finally work his way to Emerald Kaizo. It’s inevitable
He has said many times he will not do a nuzlocke of ek
Sunce ive only played pokemon white its refreshing to watch a nuzlock when actually knowing the locations hes talking about
Shark in your baby only pokemon nuzlocke has always been memorable to me ^^
And being honest Nelson's death made me cry a little
great work, Dr HG!
watching the highlights as you played these was a lot of fun, too. of course you couldn't fit every moment into the main channel video, but since it is a "new" version of the game to me, it I felt like I was playing a new game too. I know I probably won't end up playing Blaze Black myself anytime soon due to my work schedule, but your videos scratched that itch!
Can't wait to watch this! And play myself too!
I love that Flygon manages to fit Taylor lyrics into every script lol. Keep up the great videos ♥
One of your best runs yet, only after your 400 BST. challenge imo. I hope Waterbed and many of your other fallen pokemon make a reappearance.
O the Corsola is one of my personal favorites btw. They deserve another chance at glory.
I’d put whatever your first Flygon in a nuzlocke was to be in your hall of fame.
My sincere condolences for the loss of Stool. Definitely should be in the Hall of Fame for his sacrifice 😂
nothing but respect for my president 😔✊
Stool MVP
What a goddamn beast of a run. Honestly, I love that despite the many runs you have done, you still show a lot of passion for the games.
I LOVE the choice to not use set-up moves. It's a totally valid way to beat a Nuzlocke ofc, but the restriction makes for so much more varied and interesting strategies from a pro player like you. Peak content.
God this was one of your best runs yet! I’m so happy that you show new ways to nuzlocke things. Thank you for the videos and keep going!
this is my new favorite run, so tragic, so entertaining, better than many movies
GG! probably my favourite Nuzloke video on UA-cam.
