I have re-uploaded this due to a "chord name" correction. Thanks to everyone who pointed it out, and I always try for the highest in accuracy in my lessons.
Thank you. This lesson is great. Myself and a friend are working towards playing smooth as a jam peice and most vids gloss over the all important rythmn part.
As a guitarist myself people tend to gravitate to lead not realizing the rhythm guitar is not only hard but essential. Furthermore drums and keeping time is so crucial in music. The drummers should get all the glory for being the glue of it all.
Great lesson, Thank you . One suggestion would be to have the words run under or over the video so the viewer could see where he is in the song. I'll figure it out.
it was more complicated than expect thanks for your patience to learn a music nono like me something. maybe at the end it should be nice to play it complete, this is up to you to do it or not, the lesson is clear and usefull for me.
Thanks for this. Yes, it's an intermediate lesson and I'm an advanced player but I still found this really useful - I was struggling to hear the progression but now I have it - although I wonder if you mean the final E7 to be a Jimi chord, the E7sharp9?
Great stuff! Well done. Exactly the chords we use in our duo. We also use (most of) the same chords and cross over into an acoustic ballad version of Rainbow in the Dark by Ronnie James Dio.
What the hell hahaha nice chords but it too complicated for all beginners.. B5mb5 chords was not accurate for me .. i recomend Gmajor chord for the last part .. 😍😍
I don't know. A Bm11 is very close to a Bm7b5, but you are missing the diminished element of the chord which is actually an important part of that style. There are so many other instruments covering up the acoustic guitar in the mix that it is hard to know for sure.
You cannot play this song without off beats. So, they are in there for sure. As for the spice, well everyone can add as much or as little as they like.

Great lesson on the strumming. Gonna take me a while but you’ve given me great instructions
Great stuff! Well done.

The E7 in the end of the Prechorus doesn't sound right to me... maybe try an E+ (augmented)..?
no worries i think it was a solid lesson, thx!
Thanks Jeffery :)
Yeah very good lesson, thanks
Excellent Lesson!
Thanks, super
Hi Francis, thank you for the lesson. Can you do Love On Top by Beyonce please ?
Thanks for sharing
Great!
Nice lesson ...very useful
Wish you would have hummed the melody with the chords to give context

What about this... Verse Part B... Dm7 Dm7/C Bm11 E7
Let me know what you think... It's easier to play and sounds pretty authentic.

Good lesson, for some reason this rhythm was messing me up.
You're making it to pretty. Get nasty with it, use more muted syncopation in off beats. Remember, it's a spicy song not a country song.

Very nice.
