Yeah, an understimated anime, i personally loved that one... Seeing Vash the Stampede doing nuts everywhere, but also the emotional part, that beats too; for instance, when he saves the city and repairs the reactor and that engineer who wanted to kill him for the destruction of her city, well, and then plot twist, he was the man who helped her out of that nightmare.
He had no memory of causing that disaster.

You missed that the 3:35 screen when heavy is falling on the grunt is a reference to a meme template where Fuze (from rainbow six siege) falls down in the same positions on a hostage

@@sakarilaakkonen5466 I can also assume, depending on when it was made that the scene is also a reference to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Since they all disintegrate in a similar fashion from a beam of light.

Its worth mentioning that throughout the video, the heavies use an engineer-exclusive default taunt. This is most apparent in the multiple death screens section

If we pause at 4:34 we can see the name "HIDEO KOJIMBA" this is of course a reference to Hideo Kojima, the man who is known for the entire Metal Gear Solid franchise, Silent Hill, PT, Death Stranding and much more.

4:14 the metalic holes in Blue Heavy's torso are likely a reference to the T-1000 Terminator as it has that happen to it in the movie when he's in the form of a police office I'm pretty sure.
Those aren't bullet holes, actually. They're a set of button pins that are an actual cosmetic in TF2. Seeing as that cosmetic has decal support, there's a likely chance they're anime buttons.
The soldiers-disintegrating light beam gag is probably a reference to the Super Smash Bros Ultimate campaing cutscene
Giant energy beams have been a thing forever, you can't really name one true inspiration.

@@sirshotty7689 it's from infinite space a weird Nintendo ds space opera style rpg it's the mega laser mounted on the first boss Dimit Paniflov's ship and is his ships only weapon basically making him a joke since you can dodge it also that game is ridiculously unfair and requires a walkthrough to play since you can miss so much because much of the games technology and crew members are locked behind very specific player dialogs so good look playing it I had the walkthrough and I even missed the shield generator frame mk 1 and the crewmember associated with it even with the walkthrough

The Russian song that plays when Both Heavys leave the smoke is a song from a Russian cartoon "Smeshariki", the song itself plays when one of the charecters flies on a plane.

At about 2:05, the red Heavy steps on a skull, and while it could totally be a reference to something else, I see it as a reference to the Terminator films and the iconic future war scenes, which open with a Terminator stepping onto a skull without a care
This is actually really good quality, and the pointing out of references isn’t in your face like others where it pauses the video every other second, I really love it!

Elevator scene at 4:18 is probably a Hellsing Manga/Anime reference, where when Alucard, Seras and Leader of the PMC they hired fly to Brazil and get attacked in the Hotel by Brazilian BOPE cops (Elite Police Operations Batallion translated) and the remaining cops try to flee through the elevator, with the cop pressing more and kore the close button
Useless references you missed: The Blue Heavy running at 2:18 is a reference to the Running Officer Earl meme, and the Red Heavy at 2:19 is using the running cycle animation from the HL2's Fast Zombie.

2:35 after the screen goes black but before the heavy hand goes through, the shutdown sound plays, which happens after the ai voice says “heat exceeding recommended level, shutdown imminent” from mech warrior 4 vengeance.
3:05 could be a reference to "vice shout" where Buu screams loud with a big mouth

Grunts at 1:16 have what looks like Colt CAR-15s and the grunt at 2:50 has a Colt 601/602/604 rifle. Note the head stamp on the ejecting cases as 'Super Caliber Fragile Ballistic' a pun on Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious seen in Valve's Meet the Heavy video. Also not the primers on these ejected cases are not struck

3:36 is a recreation of a meme where its a person with tape over their mouth crawling away while a military dude is coming from the sky exactly how blu heavy is.
This is a really cool way of showing the references and jokes. Usually it's just like pausing at the actual thing but you put a lot of effort into this beyond that.
..also there were so many blatantly obvious things (the sheer amount of default dancing, none of the grunts carrying normal weapons, the GIANT HEAVY FACE after the shoot scene) that I TOTALLY MISSED.

I knew of some but I didn't know there are these many references in the thing. For me personally this changes the viewing experinace from cool video about OP heavy to a cool video about OP heavy and a celebration of modern culture and internet culture of the 21st century as a whole.
