  • The artistic freedom workshop is an important part of our curriculum and it began at ENTRE Gallery. The workshop combines art with human rights, both academically and in practice, and is facilitated by members of the academic team (Marilyn Volkman and Walter Suntinger), and the Cuban curator Solveig Font and the Cuban artist Julio Llopiz-Casal.
The workshop is designed to be hands-on, taking the exhibition of Cuban art at ENTRE as the starting point (OBSESSION curated by Solveig Font and Marilyn Volkman), and combining arts organization with systemic change principles plus legal strategies core to human rights practice.
