It does hide them in the App Library and if you set up a shortcut you can add it to the lock screen and use it to enable or disable.

Nothing new. About yrs ago android having these features for the launcher. Hide any apps on home screen and app drawers and to see it or it use passcode and also can make the app into something else only you can kno also you can randomized the passcode. And you don't see those hidden apps in the app library. There was a stock feature you can unhide the system apps . You guys enjoys. Happy New Year
