Great looking design. Love this build process as no need for carbon rods (a harder to find non-DYI item). Each Eclipson design is a little more innovative than the last. Thanks for the enthusiasm and passion that Eclipson puts into its designs. Excellent demo flight video at end.
Can you make a drone that gives you the option of adding sensors on the bottom like vegetation sensors and Liedar, maybe a swivel camera? Low drag, high lift, low or high speeds and the wings have ready for solar panels?
It's not that big of a deal but it would be easier if there were sub folders for the categories. so if you're using Gcode you can save all the files for LW-PLA on card and print all those or you put the STL in your slicer and not accidentally the wrong thing. This happened to me I printed the rudder ends with no extra bottom layers and just ripped the bottom layer right off. thanks for everything you do.
It looks and flies very well but I notice there was no landings in the video. Its a bush plane so should be able to handle bush conditions including bush/rough terrain landings. Is that because somethings break on landings?
Really like this design and other Eclipson builds, but surprised that none seem to have any dihedral built in. Seems like it would be so easy to do so with 3d printing….and make the flying that much more forgiving. Am I wrong?
Excellent video! QUESTION: Is there a way to adjust the g-code to work with a delta printer, or do I need to re-slice everything and enter all new values? Thanks!
@@eclipsonairplanes thanks, any suggested temperatures to arcieve a certain shorehardnes, or isnt this the equivalent of LW-PLA? where it boubles up at temperatures?
I love your aircraft but I really wish you guys would turn off the music, it's horribly distracting and takes away from the otherwise amazing production quality of the videos and aircraft. Just my two cents.

i regret that they didnt use carbon rods... wing broke in half while flying...
Broke along layer lines? PLA, or LW-PLA? Printing PLA at higher end of filament temperature range can improve interlayer bonding.
Printed with lw pla, tried a loop, instantly snapped
Pretty sure there's also room to use carbon rods if you wanted
@@TheRealMisterJ No, there isn't
What a great video showing off the design. Great work!
awesome 💛 love it!
how much should set infill for slicer ?

@@eclipsonairplanes no worries 👍 love what your doing your blueprints are amazing!

It's missing the servo/receiver/radio setup for the first timers...

Any plans to design floats for it? Still have to get my Model C up and running, but interested in building this next.
We are planning to make an XL version of the C with floats.
@@eclipsonairplanes Nice, look forward to that.
Just purchased the Model B... One question: What is the recommended finished wall thickness when printing using LW-PLA?
Between 0,4 and 0,5 will be fine
@@eclipsonairplanes Thanks!
Do you use a splicer for each part of the airplane?
Idea add a extra set of floats that you can print
it looks amazing, I bought it and am already printing from PLA. LW-PLA is not available in my country, thank you.
Are there flanges for alignmant or another method
Yes, there are small flanges to help align the pieces when gluing together!
Thanks have printed one and an currently assembling
Do I have to sand lwpla for better flying results?
@@eclipsonairplanesis sanding the airframe required?
New sub! Liked 😃😃😁
I just bout the STL file and now I realized there is no place for carbon Bar,I’m so worried about wing

Kenn jemand die Druckereinstellung für die Aufkleber? Ich drucke sie auf A4 und sie passen nicht, sie sind zu klein 😢
How many people watching the video had to re-bend the landing gear to get the plastic pieces on?
well F%$K.
어떤 모터를 사용했나요?
Hello. What size wheels and from where you buy it? 😊
It is 3D printed
do you include a list of stuff what I else need and where u can usually by them for fair prices?
www.eclipson-airplanes.com/modelb
its great model. if i will use PLA, what Motor ,prop and buttery should i use?
What are the numbers on the recommended throw? Degrees?
Lenght, in milimiters.
Looking for where to get a receiver but don't say anywhere on the website
The radio comes with his receiver.
Excellent video! QUESTION: Is there a way to adjust the g-code to work with a delta printer, or do I need to re-slice everything and enter all new values? Thanks!
Thanks. It will be easier to create your own G-code.
does the Wing from Model C also fit with the body of the model B, are they compatible?
No, they are different
Can you please tell me where I can find the decals you stick on the aircraft ?
We work with tenvinilo.com But there are many companies offering that service.
So this is basically a Carbon Cub, correct? Can you use regular PLA as well?
They look very similar indeed, but the proportions are very different, much more adequate for a 3D printed Rc plane. Yes you can print it with PLA.
A dimension please for the front wheels ? It's pretty time consuming to print them.
70mm diameter
Do you have a part number to the screwdriver set you are using??? Thanks.

Can not find the CG mark. Can you show the measures?
There are small markings on the underside of the wing. They can be seen on the WingC section roughly 45mm from the leading edge.
what TPU are u using for the tires?
Varioshore TPU. It is much ligher than normal TPU.
@@eclipsonairplanes thanks, any suggested temperatures to arcieve a certain shorehardnes, or isnt this the equivalent of LW-PLA? where it boubles up at temperatures?
@@nebuchadnezzar47 Yes the behaviour is similar to LW-PLA. We recommend the same settings.
where do you buy the wheels?
Anywhere, they are 3d printed too.
Wing is still printing, but so far everything fit perfect
Do you have a design with flaps?
I love your aircraft but I really wish you guys would turn off the music, it's horribly distracting and takes away from the otherwise amazing production quality of the videos and aircraft. Just my two cents.
Here's an idea... mute it. I'm sure some people like the music for some background noise.
