I think the way Soo approaches Audrey is why she doesn't like him. He goes up to her suddenly and then points his finger up close to her face. A lot of cats don't like that (unless they are friendly with you) He should go up to her slowly and talk to her softly. And instead of pointing a finger in her face, maybe curl his finger or fist the way he does with Bongji. Once he's become friends with Audrey, then I think she'll be more accepting of a nose boop ( nose greeting).
I think she can also tell he's scared. He's tense so it's making Audrey tense and they get stuck in a negative feedback loop with each other. Whereas Mejoo is very calm and confident that Audrey will let her touch. Slower movements, more confidence, less fear.
Other thing is he flinches, and he raises his hand quickly over her head when he move towards her... Both are things cats pick up on as hostile pretty quickly.
Tip: Cats can easily sense if someone who is going to pat them is tense, this could be why Soo's approach to Audrey is less well received. Her little chirps are a good sign though/
I think the reason she rejects Soo is because since he's so scared he's upseting her, he doesn't engage with her through touch and so Audrey isn't used to him touching her, but since you always practice when you're there, she's more at ease when it's you
I have 2 cats that are 9 years old, had them since they were feral kittens. One I can cuddle, pick up, love on...the other I might get to pet him on the head IF he's in a rare good mood. 9 YEARS... he is very sweet natured, just a scaredy cat!!
I have a barn full of feral cats, and whenever I lay down wet food to distract them, I can pet even the most wild ones. Don’t give up and keep up the good work.
The index approach can work for some cats, though it's best to leave it exteneded for them to sniff and not push it too close. However if that does not work then you could always try the food first approach, feed her by hand until she associates it with positive things.

Soo - You must feel courage and relaxation as you touch an animal or person. A horse feels fear from a rider and will buck them off. In massage school, our instructor told us people will feel our fear when we started. We practiced on each other and learned we could feel if someone felt unsure. Be relaxed, wiggle your fingers low to the floor instead of pointing a finger, then reach over and pet. Mejoo does it well, its like how she can give them medicine.

쁘지님의 존재가 환경적으로는 익숙해졌지만, 묘간적으로는 받아드리기 힘드나봐요🤣 사무실을 새로운 자기 영역으로 인식하고 쁘지님도 영역 내 공생 존재 정도로는 곁에 머무는 것에 적응 완료했지만, 반려인으로서는 아무래도 메주님보다는 쁘지님 접근 방식이 좀 투박하셔서... 너무 갑자기 거리를 좁혀서 (오들이 기준에선) 길고 커다란 손가락을 불쑥 찌르듯 내미니까 자신을 공격하는 것처럼 받아드린 걸지두요. 검지에 대해선 이미 약간 인식이 안 좋게 굳어진 것 같으니까^_ㅠ 다음부터 천천히 허락을 구하듯 다가가서 이런저런 다정한 말부터 건네고 피하는 기색이 없을 때에만 검지 대신 손가락 마디를 굽혀서 네 손가락 전체를 살짝 내미는 방식도 해보시면 어떨까 싶네요.
i always slow blink at cats and they become less scared of me! maybe soo can try that for a while. slow blinks is usually used as a signal of "i won't harm you."

I think that persistence is key with Audrey, she'll come around eventually but keep trying. Also Yoji is so funny he's a pain in Monji's bum quite literally and Bonji loves teases his brother. 😂😂
This is all stuff I've been able to work out during my time working at an animal shelter so weather or not it's proven by anything, I am unsure. Its just what I've noticed and did. Cats are able to tell when the human who's dealing with them is also scared. To them, that means there is something to be afraid of outside of the interaction. Becoming more confident should help with being able to pet Audrey.( Although I know that can be hard haha) If that doesn't work, then it's just persistance. Showing her constantly that nothing is going to hurt her. Took me over a year and a half to make an ex-street cat want to be pet. Scared cats will run so let her close the gap if she running around.
It's best to use food to get closer. So far touch has only been associated with bad things like going to the vet, ear cleaning and such. If you use the food to bring her closer and eventually get her to associate touch with that. She wont be so scared. I've used this on a stray myself.

저도 오드리 같은 둘째와 아직도 (1.6갤)합사?중인 다묘 집사예요. 여아에 예민 소심 겁쟁이지만 먼저 절대 공격하지는 않죠 터치 오케, 배도 보여주고 양치 다 가능한데 절대 안는건 불가… 집안 활보할때 눈 마추지면 아직도 슬슬 비켜걷기도… 하지만 터치많이 좋아졌어요. 1)터치 늘릴때 신호(쭈쭈 입술소리내고/ 나 터치한다) 주고, 2)손가락대신 주먹쥐고 손등으로 턱아래부터 쓸어줘요. 잘 받아주고 피하지 않아요. 3)가끔 최애 간식도 줍니다. 손가락이 보이면 위협적으로 생각하는지..

All she senses your fear and reacts accordingly also i I was to approach my 17 years old boy with my finger pointing at him like that he'd react the same try turning your handsome up. She's doing so well bless her she is an indoor cat now .
In sorry this should have read approach her with YOUR HANDS PALM UP😂 I'M sure she thinks your handsome Soo but the combination of the pointed finger ( probably she associated it with aggression against her when living in the streets ) and her being able to sense your apprehension at approaching her and reacts accordingly. Perhaps don't force yourself to physically touch her instead speak and play with her more so when you feed her. You might be surprised to find she comes to you.
Maybe Soo would have an easier time touching Audrey if Mejoo touched her first and the touch was happening during their regular touch practice sessions? So far, Soo has mostly touched her when he's catching her to clean her ears or take her to the vet, so maybe she associates his touch with things she doesn't want to do. Audrey has practice tolerating Mejoo's touch without being in a burrito, so it might be easier for Audrey if Mejoo was the first one to touch her and then Soo tried next.

Poor Soo...... Audrey is feisty again...... its ok Soo, she'll come around so long as your patient with her. Audrey is a very strong and independent type of cat
start with a chin/cheek touch after the finger sniff! Curl the fingers too, the straight finger also coming straight and on top of head is intimidating!
Try approaching your finger or hand from below/right/left because from her reaction, she saw the hand approaching her head as a threat, thus the defensive behaviour. Also try to approach below her eye level.
I use to feed a stray cat he was aggressive it took me 3 years to gain his trust and he was so loving but he would scratch me and hiss at me if I pet him without him being able to see my hand
I’m not sure if this would actually work but the tnr group Flatbrush cats in New York feeds their strays with their hands so that they associate good things with your hands? Maybe it would help Audrey from being so scared?

Cats can certainly tell who they feel feel threatened by them. It's so sad because All is so desperate to help her become more relaxed and at ease with him. Sometimes it's best to stop trying too hard. Jus be yourself around her. When working at desk have leave some treats close burnt too close by you am a just talk o her rather than forcing interaction between you two. Meejos approach is different because she's so comfortable around her the babies they know she isn't a threat. Watch her Son watch how she approaches confidently. Listen to the tone of voice she uses its all done confidently. If Audrey tells you to back of don't become upset or unsure tease her as you walk away. Strangely enough i can honestly see her eventually becoming ** your** cat Zoo take time everything good is worth the effort you put in to it at the beginning.
코인사 성공할 때마다 사료 한알씩 보상교육을 하고 그다음에 볼이나 머리 터치 성공하면 보상 이런식으로 단계별로 보상을 주면서 천천히 넘어가야될거에요~ 오들이 순화 화이팅이에요!!!

It might help audrey feel comfortable with people if Soo gradually sits closer to her when she eats.
...and continuously speak to her in a soft voice to calm her - like "good girl," good Audrey," etc.

I'M sure she thinks your handsome Soo but the combination of the pointed finger ( probably she associated it with aggression against her when living in the streets ) and her being able to sense your apprehension at approaching her and reacts accordingly. Perhaps don't force yourself to physically touch her instead speak and play with her more so when you feed her. You might be surprised to find she comes to you.

Maybe Soo would have an easier time touching Audrey if Mejoo touched her first and the touch was happening during their regular touch practice sessions? So far, Soo has mostly touched her when he's catching her to clean her ears or take her to the vet, so maybe she associates his touch with things she doesn't want to do. Audrey has practice tolerating Mejoo's touch without being in a burrito, so it might be easier for Audrey if Mejoo was the first one to touch her and then Soo tried next.
Maybe she is feeling threatened? Maybe if Soo goes in to side of head slowly, rather than straight to top of head?

Audrey is a very strong and independent type of cat
start with a chin/cheek touch after the finger sniff! Curl the fingers too, the straight finger also coming straight and on top of head is intimidating!
Try approaching your finger or hand from below/right/left because from her reaction, she saw the hand approaching her head as a threat, thus the defensive behaviour.
Also try to approach below her eye level.

I use to feed a stray cat he was aggressive it took me 3 years to gain his trust and he was so loving but he would scratch me and hiss at me if I pet him without him being able to see my hand
You might want to put a fan on oscillating in feont of the A/C to help disperse the cool air throughout the room. Just a tip :) stay cool !

I’m not sure if this would actually work but the tnr group Flatbrush cats in New York feeds their strays with their hands so that they associate good things with your hands? Maybe it would help Audrey from being so scared?

저도 쓰고있는데 저는 냉풍이 나오는 입구 앞에다가 써큘레이터를 놓고 돌리고 있어요.
그러면 조금 더 냉기가 퍼져서 시원해짐.
에어컨 높이를 높여보아요, 의자나 탁자위에. 그리고 그 앞에 선풍기 두면 시원함.

남집사를 거부하는 이유는 아마 항상 귀청소나 소독할때 남집사님이 이불로 덮쳐서 잡았기 때문에 그 후유증이 오래 가는듯하네요...
눈앞에서 오면 무서워하는 애들도 있더라구요! 이개월때 보호소에서 온 저희 둘째가 그렇거든요. 약간 사이드에서, 아니면 뒷통수에서 스리슬쩍 접근해보시면 어떨까 싶어요~
근데 오들이는 되게 사람처럼 생겼어요…

Mejoo-nim is more confident and Audrey can see that, hehe~
Cats can certainly tell who they feel feel threatened by them. It's so sad because All is so desperate to help her become more relaxed and at ease with him.
Sometimes it's best to stop trying too hard. Jus be yourself around her. When working at desk have leave some treats close burnt too close by you am a just talk o her rather than forcing interaction between you two. Meejos approach is different because she's so comfortable around her the babies they know she isn't a threat. Watch her Son watch how she approaches confidently. Listen to the tone of voice she uses its all done confidently. If Audrey tells you to back of don't become upset or unsure tease her as you walk away.
Strangely enough i can honestly see her eventually becoming ** your** cat Zoo take time everything good is worth the effort you put in to it at the beginning.
