Its' a great machine. But honestly, it cost a heap of money to trade. I commented on an earlier video with power stats for an opened up 8S. They are VERY choked down from factory both in sound and in overall power. You want longer gears? It's not really the gear ratios, it's the shape of the power curve. The 8S is a "mound" (that changes with a full tune) and the XSR900 is a "hill". The 8S top speed is near 140 with a tune so it's not about gear ratios.
Fuel mapping from factory kills the second gear to get around emissions regualtions, but you can fix all the restrictions with a flash.
Exhaust alone makes second feel like first on these bikes, even without the flash.

The head light puts many people off
@@davidmallia628 me being one of them.. XSR was more comfy than mt09 but I think the mt09 looks a little better.
@@chiefyy710 headlight on xsr900 looks better imo. Fits the bike as well. I'm not a fan of the mt09 cyclops headlight
Round headlights were a thing for 40 years.
What power mode were you riding in for this?
@@iplaypaintballalot I don’t remember to be honest. Street? Probably not the highest but also not the lowest
Max power is available in the 2 top modes, rain mode reduces max power.
How tall are you? Inseam?
@@HypeAFKing 6ft5 and I think 34 or 36 but I could be wrong
