I always loved Wing’s simplicity in his beats using basic sounds. He’s an inspiration to show that super special sounds aren’t necessary to be at the highest level.
the thing is... he's got good pitching and an absurdly good bass, and those are difificult or even impossible to achive (not evryone has a good voice)

Wing takes the win for me. From my viewpoint, this is what beatboxing should be, no crazy technical that only beatboxers could enjoy, no monster drops that will give you seizures, just something everyone can follow and enjoy is enough.
Well i agree however the art itself includes complex and difficult combos which are also part of the experience.

Its hard for me because he clearly won on battle and video, but Wings routine is just so nice to listen to, its so complete and fresh. Dropicals routine didnt feel as complete, but the whatthefuck moment when he showed up on Wings set was wild. Both could easily take it honestly

Wing has pleasurable style while dropical was more complex and technical. Idk how the judging will go but usually the more pleasurable music videos go viral so based on music wise wing wins but dropicals visual was also amazing. Could go either way

That makes it 6:5 for Dropical,
The 2 extra points will have to sway.
And I think they will, so it's:
6:7 for Wing.
I think points will be granted because of mainly enjoyment of listening, but also future potential, maybe uniqueness. If they look to break to the mainstream then Wing is the choice.
That's my prediction.
The points really swing into Dropical, and stars gotta allign for Wing victory, but without the points I think Wing should take it, so I think he will.

Wing just makes dope music, like man I wanna replay this over and over again. Dropicals video was insane and very technical, but not much of a vibe that I'd replay all the time. Sure this is a battle, but wasn't the point of the bbu, the freedom of competing how you want? Both artists went opposite paths and both achieved what their goal was. And if we take beatbox as music, Wing wins. If we take complexity, structure and technically then Dropical wins. In hip hop there are insane lyricist who are fairly unknown and like only doing technical stuff without it being catchy and you can argue about them being better on paper, but some hip hop tracks are just golden for the vibe and message they bring. And depends how you look at beatbox and what you value. Beatbox as music or beatbox as a showing of technical skill. You can get both, but that's fairly rare and hard to execute.
I keep coming back to listen to this.. I'll be honest this is the one of the best beatbox tracks I've ever heard..

This 3 minutes went way faster than the 3 minutes of Dropical for me. I can say that the effort of Dropical in term of video and audio editing is trully mesmerizing but in term of composition, groove and beatbox I prefer Wing. But at this level, anyone can win
