My idea for Toy Story 5 would be where Woody makes amends with Lotso (obviously replacing his voice actor) after the nefarious Teddy Bear learned his lesson. The film would also have Stinky Pete make a return for a quick cameo saying that he and Woody had a previous encounter same for Sid who would only make a quick cameo but only beong mentioned in a news cast.

Let’s be honest, Toy Story 4 completely overhauled the point of the second and third.
In the second, Woody says he’ll, “have Buzzlightyear to keep me company for infinity and beyond” and the third movie had Bonnie form a bond with Woody, only for her to just toss him aside in the 4th.
Yes I know Bonnie is a child, and it’s normal for kids to be bored of a toy after a while, but it was for pragmatic reason for Andy to give up Woody so he can grow as a person, and have Bonnie take responsibility to keep an eye on Andy’s favorite toy.
Did I enjoy Toy Story 4? Sure
Did I like the story? No
Would I watch it again? Probably not.
Overall, I’m disappointed in Pixar, but I’m mostly disappointed in Disney ye for dragging down Pixar. Bad enough we have movie companies that refuse to let their franchises end on a high note, only for them to tarnish the legacy that’s been built.
