Thank you for clarifying what you meant by "the Royal Path" I had always understood it only in terms of ascetic struggle...I hadn't thought that people were using it to justify whatever sin they felt like participating in.
May we all have your blessings Father Peter ☦️ O Most Holy Trinity our God glory to Thee ☦️ Thanks be to LORD Jesus Christ for the Orthodox Church and its narrow Royal Path towards the Theosis! Christ died for you and me! His fiery divine love is so irresistible and He forgives and provides you the eternal life ☦️
Dear Father, Bless. This is wonderful. I only make one request for the future. When you talk about the Old-Calendarists, make a disclaimer: not all of them are fanatics, but many of them follow the line of Elder Ieronymos. In fact, many of them are struggling, and some of them have holiness of life in a very obvious, Orthodox way. I have a lot of family there, and so I'm constantly exposed to them. I remember one of their bishops saying that when ROCOR joined Moscow, bot sides accepted Saints which anathematized each other's side!
Very soon all will have to repent for the heresies of heresies ecumenism, sergianstvo and breaking the church with the papal calendar. Christ soon will be gathering His Church and will be opening the door of the Philadelphian Church and all patriarchs that betray Christ will either repent and restore the Church or Christ will deal with them otherwise. It’s already 103 years after Constantinople betrayal and it’s not given much more time for repentance. The Grace of the new calendar will be totally taken away 2025. Arrangements are already made for celebrating Pasha with the Papists. 2025. But Christ is here to gather all of His. The 7 Churches in Revelation are one Church - the Orthodox Church and as you can see there’s many problems in it. Heresies. This is why the Spirit says to most of them “repent”! If you do not repent I’ll remove your lamp stand! This is exactly what’s gonna happen very very soon and all heresies mentioned above will lose their Grace if they don’t repent and Change to the Patristic practices! For Lords sake! They do not even Baptize children by the Canon with 3 full immersions! And doing it by their will and full understanding of what they are doing! They cut the spirituality of whole generations and countries JUST BY THIS SIN! Lord have mercy on us but soon, very soon all will be fixed! Christ is already dealing with the issues and He will be personally dealing with it in the next 7 years before the coming horrors. He won’t leave us orphans! Lord have mercy on us!
Your so right, it's frightening. Like walking pass darkness in the daylight. The division is great for those who have ears and eyes to see people proudly swept away behaving like degenerates, convinced its right, not knowing its their way and ways of demons. How does one walk among thorns and not disappear into a wilderness to avoid such sorrowful pain???? People stay silent when I ask as if there's no answer. How are we to set an example as the example we set seems laughable or insane...How do we exist among the the thorns and pricks? If we move great distance and have fewer conversations, there is pain of heart sure to bring truths/offense... then harsh words. It would be greatly appreciated is someone could send me scriptures or a holy view point of how to keep a smile and sweetness in a crowd that enjoys rolling in dung???? Endure? Yes, but with age, endurance has weak points which the younger has not arrived.... The elders are fading...The Lord has been good to them. 🕊.... 💞

Thank you for this Father. Would I be correct in thinking of the Royal Path as the Knowledge of Truth? The Incarnated Christ himself? When I think of our Lord, yielding the sword of truth, in the midst of the Pharisees and the Sadducees, I see it as the literal fulfilment of Deut 5:32. What was prefigured in the Pentateuch, was realised and perfected in him, as the Way, The Truth and The Life. Is this correct? Thank you for any thoughts Father.
Not only knowledge but pursuit, daily and of every second and every breath of yours and every heartbeat - to be on pursuit to become holly, saintly. (Knowledge is only the beginning, it's great and important but satan has all knowledge we all have put together, it's daily path, daily struggle, continuous humbleness of yourself, continues repentance, continues worship of God. Knowledge is just one step that aids you on this path, that itself not a path, just a great great ally)

Detach the mind from the world and attache it to god . Even if im married , if my mind is not with god , then i have sinned , lust can increase also in marriage , thats why i never understood the diffirence between a girlfriend and a wife .... i need help and explanation, but the most important for me is where is my mind ? Is it attached to the material world or to god ?!
Father, I'm in Greece. Do you believe that the Grace of God exists outside of the orthodox church's mysteries like holy communion? Why are they so strict here with other Christians being heretic? I had my first encounter of true healing with Jesus with a non orthodox pastor, why would they speak against smth like that? Also, here's no strong emphasis on God's love - not as much as it's on being a sinner which leads to soooo many people living in fear of punishment but even the Bible speaks against such thing. Can you please share about that? Thank you & may God keep blessing us all
Did I hear you say, "Oh my gosh?!" Oh no! --I had a couple of questions: Has it always been the practise for the Orthodox to have panakitas for those who never attended church? Many O we meet tend to show up for a panakita only when someone dies when both they and their loved one have never been seen in Church before--or afterwards. They are usually from E Europe, Ukraine, or Russia. It's surprising that so many from O countries are the ones who rarely attend church unless someone dies, or they have a baby baptised; then you never see them again. Why do priests allow this? Has this always been the tradition of the O Church? Also, it is MOST grievous to me that the best Bible in English, the KJV, is criticized as if it is full of errors and inadequate for us who are English speaking. It is impossible for many who are English speaking to learn Hebrew &/or Greek. God promised His Word would go to all nations, tongues, kindreds and people. The KJV is a great and marvelous translation if one will study it. We don't "need" the Greek, per se (I've never read it). If someone reads a passage in English, then says, "Here is the Greek." Guess what? I only understand the English, and the Greek doesn't add much! This mindset is not helpful. Not to mention, any and every Bible version in English is used in the Churches and that's "okay", while the AV is used a tad. Why not use ONE Bible. How many are used in Greek? I read an article by one priest who said when quoting Scriptures, "I have used/made my own Bible version." Another time I was surprised to hear a priest I love & follow say about the words in English, "Take your pick." But when he speaks in other languages, I don't think he says things like that. When did this become the way to handle the Holy Scriptures? I have read the AKJV my whole life from childhood; as an adult, faithfully for 43 years. If it were not for the Bible my faith would have been overthrown many times by false teachers/-ing, false Christians, and crushing persecutions. The AJKV English Bible is my Life, hope and Anchor. It is like a knife in my heart when it is picked over as some inferior piece of common literature. --And please don't think I relate my experience based on emotional, sentimental feelings. . . . There are serious warnings in Scriptures about how we handle God's Word. What are your thoughts? I know you're fluent in Greek, but not everyone has that opportunity, and as you were speaking about the true path of holiness, just because you can read and understand Greek, doesn't mean you will automatically be(-come) holy/more holy because of it.

For a church that sings about all the ANAAAATHEEEMMAAAAAAs, this does not seem consistent with anything else I hear in Christianity.
