Spinning can be daunting with all the theory surrounding it. But I found it to be much more pleasant to just feel. Feel the wheel, feel the yarn. Somehow it feels like our ancestral knowledge about spinning is still lodged somewhere and our fingers know more than our brains. Does that even make sense?

I know what you mean about not being able to decide if you should dye a skein or not! I spun so much white fleece thinking I would dye them- I prefer them the way they are now 😅
