As a Rover guy I appreciate seeing any Rover build but I have to admit I'd have gone a different route. But hey - as long as it's what the owner wants that's what counts.
All the vehicles you build are amazing Ian. The only Land Rover I like is the Defender (shorter model though) and that clone truck is freaking amazing.
Hey Ian, while it is one of your more recent builds, I would love to hear more about the process of the Colorado you built for UA back in 2022 (?) it’s one of my favorite builds just due to the simplicity, and being a Chevy guy it’s something that I kinda want to copy down the road.
Hi Ian , Great show and greetings from Bulgaria , I am building a softtop defender with half doors, and I saw you used paddle lock(but i suppose it is without a latch) for the inside of the doors , can you tell me from where you got is , have been searching a lot and only found ones with a latch. I suppose the connection between the paddle and latch is a wire , right ? I will appreciate the help. Thanks Boris
A defender body on for jk . What then make it super unreliable. Having had many jeeps and defenders. Jeep is way more unreliable. Landrover, full floating axles, CV front axles. Long travel suspension, conventional drive safes. All the things jeep guys do to make theit jeep better. Defender is designed for a different application.
The truck looks so good
One of my favorite paint jobs I got to do in my career. Thanks for the shout out Ian😎
What a great build 👍👍
Thanks!

I have had both factory vehicles, and the Jeep was way more reliable
