These include Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Smart Brake Support, Advanced Smart City Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist. The Mazda Navigation System installed in this model features Off-Road Navigation functionality, and the Active Driving Display includes Traffic Sign Recognition. Owners can also benefit from the complementary three-year SiriusXM Traffic & Travel Link subscription that provides current information for traffic, weather, sports scores, fuel prices, and nearby parking, which are all very useful features to use in the city.

    The 2024 CX-5 has the option of enabling touchscreen in motion when using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Also, if you press and hold the stalk that controls dashboard illumination, you can change the miles to empty gauge to a readout of miles to empty plus a permanent compass.

    I guess I didn’t understand your seat comfort complaint. I didn’t have any issues with seat comfort nor did my wife.
    You also didn’t drive on bumpy roads. It takes bumps well, but a bit firmly. For some folks, maybe too firmly.

    Does the heat and air conditioning work on auto climate properly unlike my 2023 Honda CRV EXL? Does it not have a constant creaking sounds in the car while driving unlike my 2023 Honda CRV EXL?

    That interior aged pretty well. The CX-5 had a good run. The CX-70 would do well to replace this.

      It really did especially when you consider that it's going on 7 years old. It's a very classic interior still holds up today and could be considered very nice by anybody's standards. It's a really special car. It drives very German and has the quietness and interior that reminds me of classic Lexus models

    Lack of front seat comfort was the main reason why i did not purchase a CX-5 in 2020 . I ended up buying a CX-30, which has very comfortable front seats. I hope Mazda changes the front seats in the Cx-5 in the future, at least for the North American market.

    I purchase 2024 cx5 signature, haven't driven it much, sport mode makes i big difference in my opinion..I traded my Mazda 6 because it didn't have AWD and I miss my 6 signature almost perfection... much more fun to drive and I was getting 33 mpg w'/turbo...I'll trade the CX5 in a heart beat if the 6 ever returns...USA is smitten with SUV, sad....also I agree about the seats not the most comfortable..the sound system is an improvement form my 2018....driving dynamics is much much better than it's rivals.

      The AWD system is automatic (on demand) meaning it will activate only when needed. Same with most modern Subarus.

    I’ve owned this car for less than a month and you don’t know anything about this car. Lane assist is Not a Hands Free drive. Sport mode changes shifting points.. The car does turn off at full stops, unless you disable it.

    • @MikesCarInfo
      @MikesCarInfo  4 місяці тому +2

      Quite the arrogant comment. Even if I did make factual errors in the video, wouldn't a polite correction be better than insulting me right from the beginning? Since your English comprehension is so poor let me point out your errors...
      -I never said that "lane assist is a hands free drive".
      -I never said that sport mode didn't change shift points. I said it doesn't add much, and I prefer the normal drive mode.
      -This car did not have 'idle stop'. Maybe your car does because it is required in some markets. This car did not have it. Notice in the video there is no button to turn it off.

      You should restrain yourself from using terms like: anything, nothing, always, never, everybody, nobody.
      FYI, this man does great work; his attention to detail is outstanding.
      2024 turbo versions of this car (in the U.S.), DO NOT have the i-Stop feature.
      You either have an older turbo version, or you have one of the non-turbo versions of this vehicle.

    Sport mode DOES change throttle response , it also holds the revs. high in corners ....watch real drivers take the CX-5 turbo for the real deal ...this is fluff

    • @MikesCarInfo
      @MikesCarInfo  7 місяців тому +2

      It's not a big difference for normal driving. The regular drive mode is better for the vast majority of people driving this car. Some cars are overly weak unless you use sport mode. This car doesn't have that problem.

    • @patrickgagnon9662
      @patrickgagnon9662 7 місяців тому

      The only point here is sport mode is different , not if it is better for regular driving , it quickens throttle response and hangs the revs. in corners ....I have been driving CX-5 turbo for 2 years ....I know .@@MikesCarInfo

    • @MikesCarInfo
      @MikesCarInfo  7 місяців тому +2

      @@patrickgagnon9662 Ok, I thought you were saying my statements in the video were wrong. "quickens throttle response and hangs the revs. in corners" is basically the definition of sport mode in almost all ICE vehicles. How useful it is to the driver is a subjective matter. In my case it is not that useful considering normal mode is quite good to begin with.

    • @patrickgagnon9662
      @patrickgagnon9662 7 місяців тому +1

      OK , useful was NOT the question , the question was is it DIFFERENT in sport mode ...IT IS ...I've been over why , just watching your vid to hear you say regular and sport there is no difference ...just admit there is , because there is a difference .@@MikesCarInfo

    • @MikesCarInfo
      @MikesCarInfo  7 місяців тому +2

      @@patrickgagnon9662 Ok yeah, you are right in the context your are referring to. I probably wasn't clear enough in the video. The difference I was talking about was that the speed of the vehicle was not hindered by being in normal mode. Some vehicles feel weak in normal mode and this one didn't.
