It dawned on me whilst watching your video that i own eight of the ten games listed but have yet to play any of them. I have yet to pick up Final Fantasy, possibly will when i see it cheap & I will stick to my guns & wait out Alan Wake 2 until the publisher of the game sees sense & gives us a physical release. I have played 12 of 2023 games and enjoyed all of them. I'm kind of picky and try not to buy bad games. Here are what I've played in chronological order:

Same for me with Baldur's gate. It was the same case for me with Elden Ring. People tried to convince me that it's a skill issue lol, but I just struggled to like those games. I don't mind watching others tho.
I gave up on Star Wars halfway through the game, I couldn't stand the bugs, the screen cuts or the framerate, but the game was patched so I came back to it a few days ago and now the game is more enjoyable, this is what it should have looked like on the day of release. Greetings from Poland :)

😂 Oh my Gawd - not MJ in the kitchen!! Love the list, ive only watched u play FF16 but my backlog is insane. I don’t see how anything wins except Tears of Kingdom personally. The innovative concepts in that game are astounding after playing Breath of the Wild. It is what a sequel should be. Love the dancing (hilarious) but hey, the standing desk stole the show...
To be able to be done on the switch is mind blowing. I would be happy to see that win! MJ has moved in now 😂

Just a thought, I work with creators for a living and know YT inside and out. Your blooper reels are funny, but very few people probably watch all the way through. Could be hurting your standing with the algorithm if a small percentage of people are watching 100% of the video. Love the content and wanna see your channel grow brother 🤘

I don’t like very much horror games so I didn’t play Alan Wake 2 and Resident Evil 4 but I played Star Wars Jedi survival and it’s exactly like you said, I bought a disc of spider man 2 but it got stuck in delivery😂, I want to buy Mortal Kombat 1 but I want to save so for now I’m just buying games that I’m must have (spider man 2), Assassin Creed Mirage I want to buy but like Mortal Combat 1 I don’t must have, I started playing Hogwarts Legacy but I stopped in the start because I had more anticipated games on my list, and the last one I’m going to talk about is Final Fantasy XVI, I don’t see the combat very fun but because what you just said maybe I’m going to try this when it’s going to be cheaper.

So i want to know this was your problem too? Or its my ps5 problem? Its first time faced with this problem in the games!
Heck yeah FFXVI! AC VI is nice too, you should give it a try. My top three would be these, RE4R is getting more playtime lately though since I'm trying to get the platinum for it.

Thanks for keeping an open mind and mentioning it. I reckon it's not easy to get into it at first and it can take some time to grasp the (numerous) mechanics of it. But I advise all those who try it out to push it at least to the first big fight when you get the goblins boss Minthara to come to The Emerald grove and attack the Tieflings and Oh boy you're on for a sweaty battle that will keep your heart racing and your mind boiling to find a good strategy and get your win. It's really a very different gaming experience where you actually get to plan ahead and think about what you are doing and how to achieve your goals. So satisfying 😍😌
On a general note I really love what you're doing you're such a joyful and funny lad and your skids always make me laugh I can't stop watching so keep it up 🫶🏾

nice list even if it reminds me i don't have much new games from this year lol (mine is basically sf6, dead island 2, and ac mirage). however it does also makes me want to get cyberpunk 2077 phantom liberty, r4make, alan wake 2 and ffxvi as soon as i finish up with my backlog. huh spider-man never caught me in it's web as it's iteration of MJ as a girlboss reporter is just too different from the supermodel actress MJ from the comics for me.

I'm with you, man. I was surprised to see how little love FFXVI got from the game awards. It was fantastic. And sadly, not surprised at all about not seeing Hogwarts Legacy anywhere. It was easily in the top 5 games I played this year but of course, gotta make sure garbage politics is force fed into everything.
It was my first final fantasy very good only complaint was the side quests were weak but the main story was very good

FF16 main story and combat was insane but the side missions and itemization was really poor. I absolutely loved the game but to me it wasn’t complete enough to be GOTY
If you liked FF16 you will love FFVII Remake.

@damir4548 U know, I mostly agree with u on the prom mission being out of place. It just seems 'forced' for lack of a better term. However, I tend to like missions that to show the human side of Spiderman (the original comic was fantastic in showing his regular guy issues). I know most people didn’t like the MJ missions in the 1st one, but I actually enjoyed them because they highlighted that element. That was missing from these MJ scenes. It's like they're grooming her for a superhero role, and they came off as overreaching to me. That said, I don't think they thought out the Hailey mission all that well either 🤔...still a damn good game, though
I have played FF games since the 90s and this was my least favourite. If you loved this you should try ff7-10 for sure then.
