This song always brings tears to my eyes, it reminds me of when my dog died. When I would get home from school she would always be at the windowaiting for me, when I would see her she would bark and run to the door, when she died I loked in the window when I got home and she wasn't there and when I opened the door she wasn't there either, I would cry on the couch every time I got home for those 2 weeks. I miss my Abby

I first heard this song after my husband died in an automobile accident we were both in...we had just had a beautiful baby son...he was only three monthes old...I thank God everyday he let me live to see our son a man now...so much like his dad..but some days I get overcome with guilt that Im here and he's not...but then he always sends me a sign that lets me know he is ALWAYS with us.Even after 23 years he is still one one true love...i'm still holding out for u baby...till I see again...

This song came out when I was 11, I lost my older brother when I was 10. I sang this song during a talent show and it was dedicated to him. I haven't heard it in years before today. Crazy! Still just as beautiful as I remember.

i loved this song from the first time i heard it a long time ago, now holds a very special meaning. My stepdad Bobby, just never woke up on Dec 1, 2010. Our lives were shattered, especially my mom's. but this song says everything i feel. RIP Bobby Shanes!
This song takes me back to my childhood...
I first heard this song right after my husband died of cancer when we both were 24. This will be 17 years in march 2016. He was my first true love even though I am remarried. I am lucky that God placed another man in my life who I believe was truly meant to be my soulmate and father of my son who was 3 when his father my hubby died. So in closing there are truly great men in this world. You need to trust God and the plan he has for your life.

Although we were separated at the time, my late wife and I were still good friends. She had always had a brain tumor, but it was benign ... until it wasn't (in 2011). I miss her all the time. While I'm glad she isn't suffering any more, I often wish I could chat with her again. But three years ago, I met an absolutely wonderful woman who knows my late wife is part of my past but brought me to the place where I can love once more. My mom also died from cardiac arrest (out-of-hospital) in 2014. Still, I know they are there somewhere and know I have love and caring in my life. Before she died, my mom told the woman I love to take care of me. Somehow, in her dementia, she knew. I'm so sorry for your pain.

I listened to this to try to stop thinking about my ex, but it didn't work... just brought back memories which was great cause it made me realize that no one was like him... A year earlier, 20 years ago yesterday, I lost my boyfriend to suicide and this song hit my heart. Hard. It’s a little easier when I hear it now. That loss nearly broke me completely, I was blessed with some amazing friends from a support group I’d joined two months after losing him. I’m so grateful to them, for all the love and support they give. Through it I’ve gained more than a handful wonderful lifelong friends, without whom I would be completely lost.

Hes a year older than me when he graduated he joined the Marines and i joined the Army weve been best friends for forever weve always been this on and off again thing and he knows how i feel but hes leaving for afghanistan and has a new girlfriend and keeps pushing me away. I just hope he realizes ive been here all this time and still will be.

Ikr I grew up with this song. This song has so much history. This was the first song I listed to with my guinea pig Skittles. I got her on October 13 2014 in 2nd grade. It was a huge storm and the power went out and I just held her all that night in the living room with my mom and brother. Also the first day I made slime. Best day ever

I lost my grandmother and uncle in the same week back in '05 then 2 years later my aunt in 07 and then a year later my other aunt in '08 listen to this song when i'm feeling realy upset. I was just beat yesterday by my estranged husband because he thinks he caught me cheating on him!! He broke me arm with a police baton!! I finally had him arrested for two counts of agravated assault and domestic assault!! And I have found my true love!! He loves me and I love him!!
