- This week the imminent summer holidays have got me thinking about how I adapt my practice for low capacity times.
I'm sharing my tips for getting creative juices flowing even when life throws you a curve ball in the shape of child care, self-care, illness, or changed circumstances.

Thanks for the pep talk. It came a the right time. I hope you're having an enjoyable summer.
Good- glad it was good timing!
Thanks for addressing this common problem. Encouraged me not to ‘give up’ when there’s time constraints.
Good- I'm glad it's helped!
I love this video! Great tips for short time. And a lot of motivation.
In former days I had a problem that I couldn't paint or make other creative things while we were on a journey with our camping car. And I never felt the urge to use sketchbooks.
But nowadays I have learned to take some paper with me and my watercolours and pencils. They need only little space and they can't ruin the furniture.
And I also have enough collage material, so I can play around if I want to, even if it's only for a few minutes.
Working with these things I can follow my creative path. And sometimes this sparks new ideas for projects that I can work on when returned home.
I'm so glad to hear that- collage is great for 'quick wins' too.
This is all good advice for writers also. Thank you.
You're very welcome!
