@Patreon ho fo sho I, unlike some, believe that people can and are genuine. Nina's reactions seem perfectly legitimate to me. It seems that the people who question the authenticity of these vocal coaches reactions, have their own personal agenda. If any real thought is put into this kind of conversation, there is very little in a Dimash performance to not like, when it comes to a vocal coaches point of view. Dimash is very well trained and has perfected his vocals on both a technical and emotional level. He shows what can be accomplished if you have the right training. That is free advertisement for these coaches. They don't have to "see" something that isn't there. They just have to point out what is there.

did you notice the bit of cry in his voice on the word "memories"...on "ries....." also what amazes me is that Dimash is really tall, and yet he does not appear tall. In photo shots of him and his family, he towers over everyone else. IN THIS SONG...THERE IS NO VOCAL BREAK OR REST....AND HE POWERS THUR ALL THE VOCAL LEAPS AT THE END PLUS MODULATING UP 2 TIMES IN THAT LAST LONG LONG LONG NOTE. Powerful beyond words!
Dimash is the greatest singer in the world , no matter what you musical preference he can do it all. i love this song . all of his songs. i have three of his albums.
You may like Love is like a dream,, not quite like this but he starts off really soft, almost whispering in a way. The song Screaming is really good and it is one that he wrote himself, and what is great is that it is in English. Otherwise really enjoyed your reaction on this. It is a really different song from what I have seen him do before in that it does have that Disney feel to it, and who knows maybe Disney will ask him to do some singing for them, which would be really cool. I think I have watched most of what Dimash has produced singing wise and I am never disappointed, because he just delivers everytime and even songs I thought I would not listen to I will listen to him sing it for sure. I am not a pop person at all but this guy really pulls off anything music wise and what a mean machine on the drums too! Just so multi talented as a human being.

This is his best song ever, no doubt about it. It's got to have like 3 to 4 key changes, which sounds insane until you consider how long he actually starts that chorus at the beginning of the song. Crazy low notes that I could only manage in my vocal fry. Ha ha. Wow! That part where you said that he sings high and then jumps down... He does the same thing in the song "passione ". No preparation… Just Bam! He has insane range, but clearly prepares the hell out of each and every song before he presents them. I can't get over the way that he moves on stage in this performance. A textbook example on how to stand for technique purposes as well as a showmanship purposes. The little hop and skip he does toward the back of the stage reminds me of Michael Jackson.

I'm always happy to see you reviewing a Dimash performance and sharing your insights.
What I noticed about Dimash's vocals in this performance was this: his mixed voice didn't have any nasal twang in it. In earlier performances, he used twang in a part of his mixed voice range. I had believed he needed it to obtain full volume for part of his range. Here, he attains a consistent color across his entire mixed voice range *without* even a trace of twang. It's full, rounded, open and twangless everywhere he goes with no diminution of volume at all.
That's nuts, isn't it? Same color across that much range? Slap me with a flounder.
It is like he is embracing and leaning more towards Lara Fabian's as his latest style. Good! More uniform tones colour and we can clearly see this in Adagio sung by the two.

Dear Nina, I heard & loved your song. Now is the perfect time to tell you that the piano player is Maestro Igor Krutoy. After he heard Dimash sing sinful Passion he joined him to compose music just for him. He already composed Ogni Pietra and Passione and Igor has also reworked some of his existing songs for Dimash. Then this song, the music was worked on by Igor and Dimash and the lyrics were written by Lara Fabian in three days. Lara has a strong bond to Igor and she is one of Dimash's idols. You can hear Dimash and Lara and Aida Garifullina sing Ti Amo Cosi at Igor's birthday celebration in Moscow. BTW this was performed at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. As youlisten to more recent songs you will see a lot of Igor.
