Your "donate" clothing find reminds me of a funny story. When I was first dating my boyfriend he took me to a spot he used to go fishing in high school. We found several trash bags of nice clothes and shoes that fit both me and my daughter, out by the bayou, dumped. We kept some and donated the rest. A few months later we were visiting an old friend of his and his wife noticed my shoes and said her oldest used to have some but outgrew them. We later realized that the bags we found were actually left there by her husband who was supposed to donate them but went fishing instead. We never have told them about finding it... maybe one of these days! 😆
@@anthonyamendolia818 she was talking about the bag that had a "donate' stikker on it. Someone probably was send to donate the bag but was to lazy to go there and threw it in the dumpster instead

I bet someone passed away and the family was getting rid of their knitting things!! Yarn is expensive, and I can't imagine someone that knits throwing all those knitting needles away!
I was thinking the same thing (there goes me, lol) or was put into a nursing home. That yarn is great to learn with, but the needles are a find! Don't give them away, learn with them!
The straight needles are knitting needles, the needles that are attached by a wire are knitting needles also, to knit in the round - like for socks, etc. The Stone Pack looks like needlepoint. What you call fur is rug hooking yarn. The frames are needlepoint frames.
I agree with you, Carolyn. I think I have bought most of those things and I probably paid $100's if not more for them, not to mention the instruction books.
Exactly no one would throw away expensive things. Any normal person would look up the prices of those things before throwing them out. I bet she put all those knitting supplies in the dumpster before filming.

The older "vintage" needlepoint kits sell well especially if they are out of production. Animal themed kits sell well too. Ebay and Etsy (if they are 2000 or earlier) are good platforms for these.

Quite an array of crafting supplies knitting needles, crochet hooks counted cross stitch, embroidery, embroidery hoops etc. I'm jealous. I do all of those crafts. I better get busy and use up my supplies so my family doesn't throw it out if I die. LOL
Hi Kelly, wow that's a crafters dream! The hoops of all different sizes in the top plastic drawer are all for smaller cross stitch pieces (a good place for you to start, if you wanted to try cross stitching for yourself). They’d probably sell well as a bundle. Knitting needles are the completely straight ones, crochet needles have the hook at the top of them. The circular knitting needles are used to make things such as socks, hats, clothes. The small bits of wool (which were in the plastic drawers) are to make a "latch hook" picture (crafters also use these small bits of wool to make latch hook rugs) - this is what that little piece of clear plastic is for on top of those bits of wool - to make the latch hook picture. I'm thinking you could sell all those bagged up cross stitch kits separately - they take AGES to do & websites tend to sell them individually. Hope some of that helps you! :) x
I would be interested in your cross stitch kits, and embroidery kits and needle point kits. Let me know? PLEASE I'M OLD AND THATS WHAT I DO GIVE ME A PRICE😀 WHAT a great score
The easiest craft to learn that you picked up is the rug hooking, I bet your husband would love it! You should totally keep the crochet patterns, it is pretty easy to learn as well. I would love to purchase all the buttons on cards. TFS Hugs!

I had a few others listed for between $20-35. I found a whole bunch at a small thrift store and just looked each one up, that one happened to be going to for a lot. Good luck selling your kits!!
Hey, Thanks for helping us out, The fires were mental and now we have flooding, its been raining non stop for days. On another note I flip from thrift shops and buy vintage......I stumbled upon you last week and became an instant fan......I love your show.......My passion is vintage fashion......
I haven’t been able to sell Free People for much more then $15 on PM and Mercari lately :( I hope you have better luck! Nice haul love your vids!
michelle johns Same. I have some Free People stuff right now that I can’t sell at ALL.
faeriesmak I’m so sorry to hear that! I’ve been having the same luck unfortunately.
@@michellejohns5917 I just don't think that there is much of a market for the older style Free People clothing right now..which is fine. Trends in reselling are changing all of the time.
Wow it's just like looking in my mother's sewing box I acquired. Great finds.
Awesome video love it! I'm going to start apartment dumpster diving on my channel 😁 Stay Amazing 👏
It’s crazy the great shoes you find!!!! That’s also a ton of wonderful knitting, crocheting and cross stitching supplies
Your my favorite diver.
I get all my craft supplies at thrift stores, yard sales, and rummage sales. There is so much beautiful stuff. Tina
Wash stuff before wearing! ❤️
yes! so important!
She knows that as she mostly says it is all washed or even lays it outdoors until it is washed.
OMG i totally love all those crafting free items u found . u r so lucky that is totally a crafter dream find.
Need to be careful with bed bugs. That could be why they throw all them away.
Quite an array of crafting supplies knitting needles, crochet hooks counted cross stitch, embroidery, embroidery hoops etc. I'm jealous. I do all of those crafts. I better get busy and use up my supplies so my family doesn't throw it out if I die. LOL
Ryan Newman.
LOL oops 😂
breafkast I know nothing bout Nascar, lol....I wouldn’t have known the difference :)
LOL! I kept wondering who Randy Newman the racecar driver was. I thought maybe the singer was racing now. Now Ryan Newman explains it all!
Ryan Newman drove the #12 car for roger Penske many years ago. the value may be more than you think.
@@boathead22000 Yes Indeed!
PLEASE I'M OLD AND THATS WHAT I DO GIVE ME A PRICE😀 WHAT a great score
brenda george I would go on her poshmark she sells everything there it’s a link in her bio

@@chloehantz529 bkgbulldog1@gmail.com that's my email let me know what she has😀
The easiest craft to learn that you picked up is the rug hooking, I bet your husband would love it! You should totally keep the crochet patterns, it is pretty easy to learn as well. I would love to purchase all the buttons on cards. TFS Hugs!
If you list the cross stitch kits on EBAY, they will sell.
Check out GeminiThrifts on UTUBE Weekend Sales Edition #50..,,.she sold a bunch of these cross stitch kits on EBAY

I love watching your trips. Your so awesome. My home burned to the ground in march of 2019. Being disabled i did not have insurance. I love your yarn and hooks and plastic need point hoops. If i had the money trust me id buy the yarn, needles and needle point hoops in a heartbeat. God Bless you donating to the Australian fires to help.. 💖💖 hugs hun... Take Care. Hugs to your fur baby.
All the needle work crafts and yarn will definitely sell on Ebay. Excellent score.
oh, theres lots of videos out showing people at the goodwill bins. You're different because you get trash items and sell them. Just watching any video you make brings me joy. You're awesome .
I'd be in heaven with that craft haul. As a buyer and seller of craft supplies they fetch a lot. Especially vintage Button packs etc
Wow! That’s awesome! I love how you climb in and out so effortlessly. I might be able to get in, but I would never get back out!
Wow! I'm glad you rescued alll of those crafting supplies. Cross-stitch is time consuming but beautiful and rewarding. Great haul. Pilgrim, feeling loveable today.
Kelly isn't it great how the universe gives you things you think about? I think you would probably like knitting or needlepoint with your hubby. It's relaxing and fun to do together. Glad you smelled the dumpster juice before you put it in your car. It would probably smell a good long time. Thanks for the video. Be safe
Wow. Some people would LOvE that stuff! Amazing finds!
Good job rescuing it.
Also, don’t some people collect buttons?
I am addicted to thrifting. I collect vintage toys so my first stop is always the toy section. I buy or try to buy as much of the things I need from thrift stores as well, including clothing, kitchen, furniture, shoes, books, etc. It would be awesome to see you thrifting, and I can't wait to watch whatever videos you put out.
Your on the fly descriptions of the crafting stuff made me laugh!
