I came to this channel because of the delight of drumming, but first I just thought the concept is just a nice variation of what drumeo was doing, but I was so wrong! The timing of the subscribe ding with the muted f-word (on the explicit version) was brilliant. Also, those were some slick fills. And I don't know if it's you or CJ who did the keyshifts but those were fire. ETA: ...and I got to the part where CJ mentions doing the keyshifts. That's awesome.
For each of the choruses, he added his flavour on them with the hihat patterns. Make it his especially the chorus after the 2nd verse🔥. Love this arrangement plus the key change at the end!!! This deserves to be played live on her tour. Well done CJ 🤝🏿

@itzstikz4908 have you ever watched the history of gospel music? The drummers may play "funkier" now, but that's not how it always was. Matter of fact, some countries don't play funk patterns with their gospel music even though they sing the same songs. In some parts of Africa, they only play "African grooves." (So I don't have to name them)
