I have a 2024 ordered and scheduled for a 2/24 delivery, but I must say I am a bit disappointed about the buttonless dash! We will see but from the jump, I wish they would have left the dash alone!
Me too a bit disappointed about the buttonless console as I personally like the intuitiveness of button operation. Nevertheless, I like the easier access of wireless mobile charger in the 2024 RRS.
@superandy108juan3 also fyi.. I ordered HUD and 23 black out wheels with the 10 spoke design. Apparently, both those options are no longer available. But as I ordered mine, it will have it as ordered. Why would you not have HUD as an option tech pkg?? Unless it's going to be standard???
I drove one today and it’s definitely a downgrade. Car makers need to stop forcing everything into touchscreen. A few buttons for commonly accessed things like temperature is good.
My P550e is schedueld for end of december for delivery..🎉🎉🎉! Wonderful car in fierenze red with the black roof! All black is too much! This is a statement car. So it needs a statement color 😊
So this model comes as you said with the rear wheels steer, However this model also has the dynamic response pro which is a 48v anti roll system. This is only fitted to the top two engine models. Can you tell much difference over the models without Dynamic response pro. The lesser models have Dynamic response which uses the dampers to remove body roll however body roll in these models are quite noticeable.
The removal of the physical hvac panel looks like the design after thought it essentially was - granted looks better here than the blank slab in full size
I’ve just taken delivery of my P550e Autobiography and it’s a fantastic car. However, I preferred having the buttons on my 2023 model, in particular the volume button, crazy that they’ve taken them all away. The only benefit is that there’s a better place to put your phone. Great car overall though
I was hoping you can talk a bit more about the power of the electric motor (now that it has between 150 to 200 hp alone). Is the electric motor good enough for day to day drive (even on highways)? Can you force the car to never turn the petrol engine, no matter how hard you press the gas pedal? If these things are properly put together, it can create a new segment in the market where you have a fully electric car (with enough range, power, and luxury) and still switch to petrol whenever you want - best of electric world without the range anxiety!
Matt. OMG! The most perfect proper SUV. Nothing comes close! Forget anything Lambo, Porsche or well any! The minimalist design. Fundamentals and now quality to match. This spec in the 9:33 all black. Those alloys with carbon. Two tone interior? No for me. Cannot wait for the new SV model. Whenever I see one my jaw still hits the ground! 😂😂. Thank you for the refresher on the iconic RR Sport. Appreciated.
After waiting a year for my original 510 build, I cancelled after being told everything has gone up and my wait time starts from the beginning again. Cheesed right off and moved onto another manufacturer. Sure I would have loved the car but the dealerships really let the experience down for me. You don’t actually save anything with the reduced BIK as the price has gone up to buy the car meaning either less cash in the bank or increased monthly payments.
I was going to order one but couldn’t get insurance from a number of companies including my current company .Land Rover have now set up their own but was still quoting £4,000 for a 60 year old is shocking .They said the new model hasn’t been stolen without the keys which means they will break into your house to get the keys .They should of sorted out the poor security in the older model so many Range Rovers are stolen in the cities the car is great but would rather sleep at night not wondering if they are going to break into my house to get the keys it shouldn’t be like this but if you live in a big city unfortunately it’s a reality of the world we live in
@@KaryabsThey’re not selling many to private buyers anymore due to the insurance particularly in cities hence panic in LR HQ and the dealer network. Only those on fleet policies can realisitically buy LR products at the moment.
@@petersmith6520what panic? My local JLR dealer has an 18 month waiting list for the RRS. This new generation sport is selling like crazy, even with the insurance concerns.
@LandRover stupidly forgot to charge the hybrid off the engine at highway/motorway speeds. It only charges during regenerative braking, hydraulic braking, and plugging it in when @porsche @Bentley, @MercedesBenz @BMW all charge while at highway speeds and the ICE is running..... but LR? nope.... that was too much common sense for them.
I am kind of disappointed that they remove all AC control buttons. But I still like this car and can't wait to get mine scheduled for delivery in March 2024.
Never saw this coming when o got the p440e. the delta in HP is negligible in the newer model but not having HVAC buttons (The ones on the MY23 are very practical) is a downgrade for sure.
I know in London, England, RR may be the most stolen brand but where I live, Toyota and Hyundai / KIA are the most popular vehicles for thieves. Depreciation of this generation is a non-issue at the moment due to the high demand. There are owners actually selling their RR Sports for more than what they paid for it. As for reliability, only time will tell but so far this generation RRS appears to be doing well.
What?? Unless you have spaghetti arms, the steering is just fine. It's light and easy in comfort mode and then firms up and is heavier in sport but in no way would I say that it's heavy af.
The ergonomics just keep getting worse. All driven by cost cutting. Why replicate all of Tesla's mistakes? Not to mention the highly problematic door handles.

Agreed. Mechanic control buttons were an important part of the Range Rover glamor
Just got the 2024 phev, yes, I am missing the heat/ac dials. Getting used to it, slowly!

You can choose to only used electric or let the vehicle choose. What I’d like to know is if a charge is required to get the full HP
Mine just arrived today and is at customs. Will sort out insurance paper work. Hopefully it doesnt stay at customs that long.

Can i choose the color, i want black like this and the interior colors like yours, at the website i can't see where to choose the color
Ask your local JLR dealer for assistance of color choosing. You can easily choose your color from website as well if you get it right.

How are they going to sell any cars with that level of insurance? Assuming it's 500 a month for a 30 year old, that's enough to pay for a Mercedes
