I can't say that I didn't see it coming, I just didn't think it would be the season cliffhanger. Sully always had in for Jamie but doing it bare face and looking into Stef's soul was CRAZY!

You're also forgetting in Top Boy Summerhouse S1 ep 4 Dushane was asked by the old Top Boy Raikes to kill Sully cause he was a liability, but instead Dushane kills Raikes to save his boy because he would never do that to Sully. The exact same thing happened for Jamie with Kit and Jamie killed him. Sully saw that and remembered what happened and saw Jamie as a snake who would kill his own day 1 boy, unlike dushane who faced the same situation and still backed him. So Sully saw that as a sign to kill Jamie.
I agree. Jamie had potential but he was too fresh in the game for the position he had. He saw Kit was a liability and remembered what Chaach told him in Morocco about having to lay down your brother. The difference is Kit wasn’t a snake. He was more like the loose cannon that Sully was. When Jamie realized his brothers were going to prevent him from leaving, he decided to kill Kit when he should’ve killed Dushane. I understand Sully killed the Fed in Spain that he made the deal with so there would be no plug. But he should’ve figured that out later and went after Dushane.
The difference between Raikes then and Dushane now is that Raikes didnt really have a relation with the dealers at summerhouse because Dushane and Sully were their boss. When Dushane killed Raikes, he didnt get into any trouble as he was just a boss.
If Jamie killed Dushane and summerhouse knew about it, the beef would start up again and summerhouse members like Jaq and Kieron, or even Sully would swear revenge on Jamie and he would not last very long, neither will his gang, including Kit.
Not really he had a choice either ruin his brothers life’s or kill his boy he picked his family only reason Jamie got killed was because he snaked them when he wanted to make a deal
there wasn’t any other option because Jamie couldn’t kill Dushane or him and his family was dead, and if he didn’t kill Kit Dushane wouldn’t have let him go

Sully hands down the protagonist in this story, a character who has truly been thru it all
Definitely, Sully’s been through a lot more than Dushane. Dushane’s had the privilege to travel aboard but (until season 2) Sully said he’s never even left the UK. Dushane also had his mother, who he was fairly close with, whereas Sully’s parents weren’t really explored. It was implied his mum was a junkie, and not much is said about his dad (maybe he was absent?). It sounds like Dushane had opportunities, but drug dealing just happened to be the easiest route, whereas Sully HAD to do it out of desperation and struggle

There’s a street code that very few people follow anymore but it was put in place to keep things in order. Sully is one of the few that still follow that code. Dushane is smart but puts money before the code. Sully knew from the beginning that bringing Jamie in was a violation. Dushane admires Jamie’s ambition but Sully saw that ambition would be what made Jamie turn on them the same way he did Kit when his back was against the wall. Making a side deal with the fed in Spain was the final straw. Once Dushane disclosed his plan to make Jamie his successor, Sully knew he had to go. Jaq is the one Dushane should’ve been grooming. Maybe he didn’t because she’s a girl but she proved her loyalty and that she can get stuff done time and time again.

Jamie doesn’t have a code of honor ,he does things to his own benefits ,that’s one red flag which sully picked up . Sully is pure street and knew Jamie would eventually try to take both him and dushane out in the future （cutting a side deal in spain) .Also Jamie killing his day one Keith justifies Sully’s judgement... Jamie doesn’t care who he hurts to save his own ass .
Regardless of what ever beef Dushane and sully have ,sully was only trying to stop Jamie from becoming a threat in the future .
No I think your characterization of Jaimie is seriously unfair, Jamie is obviously loyal to those closest to him, but I think his priority is to his brothers first. Jaimie didn't want to kill Kit, in fact he even told Kit what Dushane had asked and was fully prepared to skip town, but Stef and Arron just wouldn't go, so he had no choice but to kill Kit, and you can even see that it broke him on the inside because Kit was his best friend. I think the bottom line is that Jaimie had no loyalty to Sully and Dushane and Sully knew that, the only reason that Jaimie was even working for them is because Dushane outsmarted him. Sully knew it was only a matter of time before Jaimie would try to become Top Boy again and so Sully had to take him out.

Jamie only took Dushane’s deal to get out to be with his brothers.
Jamie didn’t kill Kit to save his own ass he killed him because of his brothers.
Jamie always puts his brothers first even if that meant being loyal to Dushane.
The only time he put himself first was when he tried cutting a deal with Juan in spain.
The only reason he even tried that deal to begin with was because he let that Irish woman (his former plug) get to his head.

The contrast is with Sully killing Dris, where he had enough respect to not leave him where his kid would find him. With Jamie, Sully knew he had to come in heavy or not at all. This video is 💯
Sully is a freaking madman and I love it! He lives by the street codes and get the job done by any means necessary. I do believe that Sully will die the next season but when the war between him and Dushane starts I will root for sully. And sullys ruthlessness and badness will definitely put Dushane on the ropes..

my only issue was Sully had made a comment early in the season about not killing someone in front of kids. And no matter how much he hated jamie and I agreed he needed to kill him, I didnt think killing him in front of his brothers was a sully move.. But I would have to watch the entire season again to find the scene. I swore it was going to be a dream sequence or something strictly because of that one line of Sully not doing something in front of a child.

Basically Sully popped jamie because he knew he had a plan to get dushane and him back but sully made his plan backfire when he killed the dirty cop, and when jamie was given a task to kill his day 1 partner, it proved sullys point that jamie wasn't trust worthy, so he had to go

In my view Sully killed Jamie to finally end his partnership with Dushane. Before He goes to kill Jamie Dushane tells Sully he wants to go legit and let Jamie take over. To witch Sully says he doesn't want that and maybe they should go there separate ways.
Watching the show it always shows that no matter how much Sully wants to leave Dushane , to not be his partner something always happens to bring him back. Sully said to Dushane in season 3. " yeah we do things together but its never a partnership. Its always about you want you want all about Dushane" , Dushane wants to go legit and thinks about himself when it was him and Sully that made it to the top.
Sully wanted his own gang sell his own drugs. This would mean Dushane would have to have a new partner or second in command. That would have been Jamie. Dushane would have used Jamie to kill Sully so in Sully mine he had to get ride of his main threat now he is on his own , Moreover there is no going back for Sully. Dushane has to make him an enemy now. The finale season will be Sully vs Dushane for the true top boy.

In season one, when Dushane was given the ultimatum to kill Sully, he killed Raikes(?) instead. That's true loyalty and Sully realised Jamie could never be truly loyal since he killed Kitt.
Had Jamie sent Kitt off to hide, Sully would've probably respected that decision and had Dushane rescind the ultimatum.
But, just as he saw Morocco / Spain, Sully realised Jamie is ultimately cowardly and capricious, and would always be a liability.

Season 4 set up Stefan to be a roadman. He’s not really focused on school anymore. You could see he has it in him by the way he was talking to the guys during the gun deal that went wrong and how he was quick to pull out the gun. Also, he’s the one that looked at Sully kill Jamie.

Jamie was the best of both worlds he was smart and a killer . Like he said everything he did was for his brothers . If u ask me his brothers was his downfall they were too much of a liability for him
not to mention Jamie couldn’t be trusted. He killed his best friend to be down. Showing no allegiance to his day 1. Dushane didn’t see it that way. He saw it as a power move. But I feel like sully knew he wasn’t to be trusted if he’d stoop that low. If he woulda told deshane no and stood up for his boy I feel like sully woulda respected it

I think he didn’t die fellas!! It’s hard to believe that he died after he had to kill kit, after showing loyalty and trying to protect his fam. I honestly believe that the final scene where Jamie died is someone’s dream…nothing will be worth it if Jamie’s dead is real.
