Still relevant today. I'm finally replacing the battery on my GS60 from 2014.
No long intro, no life story, no ads, awesome. Thanks!

So happy there's a video showing me what I need without ads or a long intro promoting crypto currency or nft's

Excellent video! I did exactly the same and manage to charge the new battery up to 100%, but now if I remove the battery the laptops just turn off. And it does not turn on without the charger connected. It seems like the computer does not recognize the battery or something but it's exactly the same model. Do you know what can be happening? thanks!!

Fantastic Video! Thanks Willfix - really helped me with mine. I also order a 3rd party one and it seems to be working very well - the only issue I have found is that it always reports the battery as only having 5% after a reboot (even though it is full). I have run the MSI battery calibration many times, but every time I reboot, it reports the battery level as 5%. Have you experienced this or have any idea how to fix this?

Can you do a tutorial on how to replace the keyboard? I bought a replacement keyboard but not a single video on youtube on how to install it.

Hi Moeillo, Thank you for the video suggestion. I think it's not that much extra work when you have already opened the backcase. I assume that you"ll be able to acces the keyboard once you remove the motherboard. I would love to make a video about this, but currently I don't have the parts available. Good luck!

Gonna use this for reference when my battery needs replacing. It's starting to drop it's max charge percentage slowly.

Most computers have a similar replacement process. Good luck!

Good question, I'm not sure. If I remember correctly it should work. If you get other results, please let us know!

@@rbanavarro How long does it hold charge for for about? Looking at the battery suggested.

Colette Cunningham I bought it from AliExpress, but I didn’t like it. I leave it on power all the time (it’s more a desktop than a laptop), so I don’t really need a battery and thus I don’t know how long it holds. But it ain’t much... The battery light is a blinking orange most of the time when the laptop is off.
