I haven’t listened to the original so I’ll have to check that out! I’m just happy that Adam put his own unique touches on the song. I’ve listened to only a little bit of Gone, but it was only before the cover released, and Adam really delivered well from what I can see.
Would you prefer this cover over the original?
@@pandorapinkpanda I grew up listening to Switchfoot songs such as Meant to Live, Awakening, Dare you to move and so on. So hearing this song by Adam with his own touch is indeed magical and does sound like he has touched his roots and I feel this
sounds a bit better than the original. (Mostly due to the fact I'm a more die-hard fan of Adam Young over Switchfoot)

It’s honestly really cool that he happened to get involved with a project regarding someone you listened to in your childhood. That must feel amazing, two of your favorite artists combining.
I’ll probably enjoy this version more too, since just like you I’m a die-hard Adam fan :)
