"This is a cup." Now THAT's the sort of hard-hitting commentary I subscribed for!
Me too. Very comedic...lol
When I hear those beeps at the beginning, I know I’m in for a treat 😊
It's so simple yet so pleasing to the ear and comforting/uplifting 😁
"don't cry, be a confident vending machine" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂 I haven't watched that far, best spoiler everr! 😅
At this point in our harried lives, a simple nap is a precious commodity.
Dear Solo Travel San , thankyou for your hard work in bringing us these videos. One day I intend to visit Japan, to take a ferry, ride a shinkansen and see the Great Mountain. Again all thanks to you.
20:05 - "After this, I'll take a nap." Either that "strong coffee" wasn't very strong at all, or your need to take a nap was extremely powerful indeed.
I am watching this movie sipping my souvenir drip coffee from Hankyu Ferry from a recent trip ☕️. Thanks for all the information enabling me to book ferry trips with confidence (I booked my recent Hankyu Ferry trip after watching your earlier footage). You are a legend.
That vending machine was probably being bullied by the other vending machines, thats why it was crying LOL
Well, at least solo-san had curry in a bun & noodles !
I would sit outside the whole trip and just enjoy the mountain views, the sea and fresh air 😊
It looks like a comfortable suite, but I have to admit I would be tempted to bring my own food, rather than face the uncertainty of vending machines. Thank you for taking us along.
I took plenty of snacks on my last holiday, in fact I overpacked _and_ brought additional food home 😅 I highly recommend packing snacks plus water even for short day trips.
Thank you for what you do. It’s consistently excellent content, great editing, funny and informative. You’re appreciated.
We need a Japanese Ferry simulator. This will do until that's done.
Odds are it would be an indie horror game
What a fancy suit for a few hours but at least you were comfortable. Thanks for taking us.
Nothing like a coffee vending machine with an attitude.
Looks like you got the last curry bun🎉
Spending Mother's Day with my husband and kids, binge-watching your videos 😊
Solo Travel-san, your sense of humor during these trips is invigorating! Been watching since the pandemic and i still find myself going back to your videos to relax and unwind.
Not every day you get to enter a ferry from "the nose", that would have been pretty cool. Also a great day for famous-mountain spotting: Hakkōdasan @2:46, Iwakisan @11:27, Yōteizan @22:39... Thanks STJ-san
thank you for these videos 💜 they give me a lot of peace. i like to watch them when i'm really anxious and they help me feel better 💜
Oooh a real key! LOL re fridge. I was thinking, no the other side. Lo and behold, I was right. Do you ever not use the amenities, so you have 112 toothbrushes and razors at home? Yay you got your bun. I was afraid they would be all dols out by the time you went back. Gorgeous day, and nice little cruise. Thank you for sharing your trip.
I’m just starting to get caught up on your videos, and I was really excited about this one since I went to Aomori last year. Seeing the familiar scenery is really nice, maybe I’ll go check out your food tour video soon! And this ferry is lovely, I thought about taking the reverse trip for next summer until you told us the times 😢
And I was really worried for some reason that your curry bun would sell out after you left it the first time. Glad it didn’t! And that reminds me, I moved for school and there’s a place nearby that sells really good curry buns. I’ll have to go have one soon!
Thank you Solo for sharing !
Thank you for bringing us on your travels. That vending machine though really did seem sad.
Thanks you sir. Beautiful country Japan 🗾
It's a beautiful day. Love your vids, thank you.
I love these videos, keep them coming! Thank you to the moon and back.
wow interesting experience
Love the chair shapes in your cabin and throughout the ferry.
Hey buddy, you're embarking on another incredible adventure. I enjoy witnessing your travels. Stay safe and have a blast. Lots of love!
I think the only downside of the room is how short the stay is. Thanks for taking us with you!
I'm curious as to how many pairs of slippers Solo-san has, lol. What a nice, relaxing room. I wonder if Mitsuwa Marketplace or Tokyo Central have gyoza curry buns, I'll have to check lol.
I love your videos have a nice day.
Amazing trip
It always amazes me (though it really shouldn't because of the latitude) how much Hokkaido reminds me of New Hampshire.
Im from singapore and we took the exact same route! Walking from the bus stop! We truly had a great experience
I'm still a bit confused that foot traffic just walks up into the hold for boarding.
The moment you presented the carbonara, I went, "Wow, that is some sad looking carbonara!" and then you told us it was still frozen in the middle... and then you just ate it anyway. Just like I would do. You're just like other people!
I would certainly be stuck in that bathtub!😁 By the way, by my scarce Japanese learning, I believe that Aomori means Blue Forest, 青森 - am I right?
Correct!
Have been enjoying your videos very much...arigato !
I was a little surprised that you booked such a spacious cabin for a relatively short trip but then one never knows how the body will react to a vending machine curry bun and coffee.
Escalators on a ship! That's rare; usually you either get stairs or a lift (elevator).
Muroran is a city Ive wanted to actually visit.
Thank you for your wonderful videos
Love the “comedy fridge “ comment 😊 8:01
Thanks for your journey ❤ Good luck Japan
My wife and I are in Japan right now!
Thank you for another awesome video ❤
What? A daytime ferry trip on an attractive route? I'll have to make a note... :) Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful thank you!❤🎉
I’m guessing that you’re a big fan of those curry buns! Never had one here in the US, but I love anything involving curry 😅😅
Great trip. So that's mean, Muroran is closer to Sapporo, right? Overall great room for 6 hours daytime sailing, great food. Thanks for cheering up the vending machine.
What a lovely trip 😁
Greetings from Poland 🙂
It's nice to see the interior of these ferry's where the vehicles would park. Do you go on these trips as pleasure or for business? It's always nice seeing another culture from my computer. Makes the world not so big to me. Thanks Smile
"Comedy fridge" 😂😂😂 Comedy commentary 🤣
Solo-san 👏 Arigato gozaimasu🙏🤘🇭🇲❣🇯🇵🤘
I saw a new video and ran over ! I’ve never seen you enter a ship from its underbelly . Love your travel videos so much.
I am very surprised that the vending machines weren't restocked before departure.
When I saw the name of the ferry, the anime "Haifuri" came to my mind! 😆!
That's a lot of money for vending machine: the ferry lol I couldn't really see much wheelchair support which is a shame, but you got there in the end through the power of gyoza curry bread and curry nissin cup noodles!
Often feel you are on a ghost ship, never see other passengers :-)
Ahh, the hazards of vending machine food. So I honestly have to wonder why someone would even take the ferry at that point versus flying or taking a train for a 6 hour trip? Over-night? Totally worth it in my opinion.
Ferries in Japan serve in a similar manner to European ferries: they primarily serve car owners and truckers, as well as tourists who wanted a slower paced way of traveling.
Salty pig guts? Table eggs and another lovely trip.
I saw that curry instant noodle when you got the gyoza bun 😏
>Drinks a strong coffee with sugar
>Takes nap immediately after.
LOL.
It was me. I ate all the katsu sandwiches. I'll leave 4 or 5 next time, just in case.
❤❤
Coming to Tokyo on 24.6 for 4 days.... 😁😁😁
Thanks for the superthanks :)
Beautiful ❤
I wanted to see the little store.
Frozen carbonara, urgh, poor Solo.... we dont talk about the Nissin curry noodles?? 😂
Solo do you have a room filled eith slippers and toothbrushes?
Id like to see a return bisit to sunflower.
Good job tx
More long distance travel should be possible while laying down on a bed. I would have taken a bath or a shower just because it's there :p feels like a waste otherwise.
When thawing pasta in the microwave, it's always a good idea to make a hole in the middle. Thawing sushi in the microwave seems a little odd...
Curious, at 14:37 onwards, you microwaved your food with the plastic covering still intact - my assumption is that the plastic materials used for packaging these foods are microwavable, is this correct? If so, then that'something new to me as I usually remove the packaging first, down to only the actual microwavable container.
The bow visor is a deal breaker for me.
Not so much a comedy fridge , doors are made like that , so the hinged side can be changed for ease of access , you chose the wrong side :-)
They still make ferries with the hull that opens in the front like that? After the MS Estonia I thought they would have changed the design.
Who knows? Maybe they have stronger bow doors, or maybe they have sailing regs that prohibit them from sailing in typhoon weather...
15:41 oh senpai 😍🤭
Want to hear english announcement on that ship...
El nombre, HADA AZUL, ES PRECIOSO.
No direct bus to terminal ? 11 min walk for the fit young folk :-)
Is there anybody here named John who likes old country music?
Hello I was wondering if smoking is allowed on the ships
it seems the coffee machine is over confident, meanwhile the food vending didn't have any
I really want to know about the view seat that I’m not allowed to see!❤❤❤ Pig innards!?!? Really? Why?
15:45 as a vending machine, im offended!
Women's bath is on the other side
If the ferry's name is Blue Mermaid, why is a blue dolphin painted on it?
I think its the mascot of the shipping line.
I recently heard a rumor that there's a movement in Italy that wants the country to obtain nuclear weapons and intercontinental missiles... I didn't quite grasp the reasoning, but it had something to do with "Japanese versions of Italian food"... Very strange...
Very nice suite but quite a waste of money. For such a brief amount of time and empty vending machines hardly seems possible to want to take that voyage

Oh man…don’t eat those noodles partially frozen! Just zap them for another minute and that will help them defrost to an edible state! 😅
You have the best taste in socks
18:00 You gonna eat alladat? Can you get a doggie bag?🇺🇸
Why are you microwaving sushi ?
where are the pasengers and crew?,
Your last video was like this also - though I'm on 60FPS enhanced bitrate, your videos are CHUNK CHUNCK 15FPS.
Have a good one - but "body soup"? You're letting your love of food interfere with your English spelling.😁😁😁😁😁😁
It should have been "body wash"!
When booking this trip, make sure that you're neither black nor brown. The stares from the Japanese people make the entire trip uncomfortable.
or simply stay home. nobody forces anyone to travel.
@@jtns2845 Or don't stare. It's rude and gross.
@@joeterra.t it’s a reaction of curiousity. or surprise. or even distaste at your manners, appearance, habits, odor. whatever, please smile back and say hello in japanese. please don’t go into another’s home as a total stranger and expect them to cater to your every wish. i have been stared at enough in my travels and life in africa, the mideast and asia, including japan, to learn to politely live with it, take it onboard in introspection, move on if i didn’t enjoy. you weren’t robbed or cheated or openly mocked in japan, as happens in black or brown countries, as you put it. learn and return to your own country to make it the perfect destination.
@@jtns2845 No, I know the difference between an innocent look and a rude, Japanese stare. It's ironic that Japan is potrayed as this utopia of a "polite" society but that only applies its own countrymen. Then again, it's not surprising considering how they treated Korean women during World War II. I'm sure that was also "innocent curiosity" into Korean women. Absolutely disgusting.
@@joeterra.t we all make our own conclusions. none of us are entitled to anything in this uneven, unfair earthly abode. i worked in japan for 11 years after 2 years of full time language study, followed by almost 5 years in korea. add more long stays in philippines, indonesia, laos, taiwan, saudi arabia, haiti, chad. all countries with profoundly different languages, ethnicities, religions, customs and cultures than mine. my mom’s older brother was killed while a prisoner in ww2. i have no bones to pick with anyone, regardless of how i was treated, and i seek good in all places & peoples. please go in peace to where you feel at home.
btw the largest number of comfort women in ww2 were from japan.
