Democracy? (Young) people using guns to shoot fellow world citizens should have been better educated earlier during their even younger age before they get engaged in this agression of war. Every person should understand they are severely misused as soon they are enlisted for military services. That education on a global scale should be the main task of these institutions. Parliament is the place where talking gets out of hand. Leaders of any country starting with aggression towards other countries should first of all be considered war criminals. No matter they start the agression out of defensive or offensive reasons. Also support by donating weapons should be stopped. People, children and even animals should not be killed for any reason. When in war firstly rifles can be laid down secondly people can again then start discussing issues cautiously. Maybe the first subjects should be a ban on national flags and the erasure of borders. Another thing that can be cleared is that humans do but human races do not really exist. Biology! Everone is just unique. This is just my humble opinio. Just to join this kind of brainstorm session.

I recommend it be based on two realities that are scientifically true and that can easily be symbolized. First that the human race is one big human family. The idea of family is universal and this idea has been around for a long time. Secondly that we all live on one planet, which is like a big "boat" sailing in space, and so we need to manage together and peacefully our affairs on this spaceboat, or spaceship. This is both true scientifically and a symbolic image all can relate to 'we are all in the same boat'. So nothing magical, mystical, religious, just a shared universal story to create trust among membres of the human species. Note that those 2 facts may not remain true forever. For instance, if we create different types of humans with genetic engineering, this will be very dangerous as some may be tempted to create dumber humans to serve as slaves. Or if we colonize space, some may be tempted to separate, wage war, abandon the ‘peasants’ on Earth for an artificial paradise in orbit for the super rich etc.
