- Yes it's happened, I have indeed relaxed my 4c hair after wearing it natural for one full year!
In this video, i shared some of my thoughts regaging relaxers and why i am switching from being natural to relaxed.
I also show you a detailed view of the relaxer i used, as well as the process to achieving the perfect relaxer results like i did, especially for 1st time relaxer applications.
I hope you enjoy the video. Let me know what you think in the comments :)

I am over my natural hair. It is so beautiful natural...But I want a change it has been three years and I’m ready for a different look! I’m excited to see how it turns out.
I totally understand wanting to change your look, I feel that way often 🙂.
I say to just have fun with it, you can always go back ❤️.
I feel you sis. I've also enjoyed my natural hair journey with it's hit and misses..no regrets🤞🏽..relaxing it month end
What do you guys think? I love the way my relaxed hair came out and cannot wait to see how it does.
Also, it's just hair so don't get upset unnecessarily 😀.
Lmao we have the same length. I am doing this shit. Tired of my natural hair. 😂😂 My curls doesn't even look good. I'm ready to change. Thanks for the video.
SAME!!!!🤣😩
@@marleygirlshit Lmao I be wanting to cut it again but not looking back....for now. 😂
Totally off topic. Your accent is EVERYTHING!! I absolutely love it!! Also your hair looks amazing 🥰😍
Oh thank you so much for watching! And for the compliment too ❤️❤️❤️.
Love you're accent African American here. I'm considering going back to relaxed hair after 4 years❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Just do it sis, if you don't like it, you can always go back to natural 😊.
You did a great job relaxing your hair
Thanks so much! It's quite the challenge 😐.
Just thought I'd give my two cents on relaxing hair. I was eight when my mother relaxed my hair and for 33 years, I continued to relax my hair. I went natural because I noticed my hair was becoming thin. It could have been age, or it could have been the 33 years of putting that creamy crack on my hair. Hair naturally thins as we get older and go into menopause and relaxing it don't help. Just saying my hair is not too bad, but it would be nice if it was thicker.
Thank you for watching ❤️.
I just relaxed my daughter she's 8.
Were on this journey together I told her.
Do you remember hair styles your mom did at your younger age?
i really want relax im 4c/4b i love it but its really a struggle
Thanks for watching!
Yeah it can be quite a bit but hair is generally not hard for me; natural or relaxed. I just get so bored!
I say if it's making you unhappy, then you can relax.
If it's about the care, just bear in mind that you'd also need to care for your relaxed hair with the same energy 🙂.
I'm about to relax my hair after 5and a half years of natural, wish me luck!
How fun! Good luck 😊😊
I have the exact hair with colour on top and same length. 1 year natural
Soft at the back.
❤️❤️
You should do radio, you have a radio voice.
You think so? Thanks so much 😊❤️❤️.
Am new here and am getting relaxer also after 3years
Thanks for watching, I hope your relaxed hair brings you joy 😁❤️.
Does this stretch it out
How are you going to style it?
I normally leave my hair alone after relaxing, for about a week or so, during which I just wear in in a loose-ish bun.
Thank you so much for watching ❤️.
Our hair is same length
Might put relaxer
As long as you can maintain t and it makes you happy, do it ,😊👍🏽
I tried natural and boiii...... I have 4a 4b hair I'm just over it.
Yeah hair just takes a good bit of effort doesn't it 🤎🤎🤎
Natural hair gets easily rough in braids...
My mum complains about that a lot that I can't be making hair every two weeks 🐻☹️☹️
Yeah that's true, but it's same with relaxed hair in my experience. The length and health of your hair, plus how skillful your braider is, and then sleeping in a silk or satin scarf, are what can help the hair last a bit longer ❤️
🥰
This is the reason why you should go to the salon, you have color in your hair and you are slapping the perm like it is shampoo. If you went to the hair solon they would start from the root to the end so you don't have over processing, ugg!! Hopefully you hair don't have issues later.
Thanks for watching ❤️.
You can do a chemical process over color.
there are perms and relaxers for color treated hair
was your hair detangled?
From the previous day or so, yeah.
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Please guys i beg yous donitry this at home,😂😂 my scalp was severely burnt. Just go to the salon😂please
Lol yes you're right, that's the ideal thing but I'm yet to find a salon/stylist where I live that relaxes correctly. They ALWAYS overlap and mis-process, it's frustrating.
Yikes 😬 should have had it done professionally. It came out making your hair brittle and frizzy looking
SMH NO NO NO!!. I can't go back. Lol
I understand 😁
I can't with the smell and the burning 😥
@@BklynBabe I also understand this.
@Erica O. Lol i have 4c hair.and i LOVE IT.💘😉

Can we see what your hair looks like now? Do you have Instagram?
