Darth Vader enjoyed being miserable. It was normal for him. There are actually people out there in the real world who never get over trauma and will never feel like they deserve good things to happen to them or life changing for the better.
You'd be surpised at how common these people are in the internet too. Acting like a douche when someone talks to them then whining on the internet why they don't have friends. Some of them are beyond help
In canon it makes sense so Palpatine can control Vader more easily but it obviously really just is a neat region explanation for the old 70ies costume looking like this for effect rather than Lucas having thought through to all of the implications.
If I’m not wrong his master did it on purpose for 1.failing him and losing his limbs thus lessening his strength and connection to the force making him in his masters eyes ruined and 2. To cause him constant pain which would fuel his hatred and anger thus not only keeping him entrenched in the dark side forever but also boosting his connection with it and its powers
...Past a certain number of terrible design flaws you have to wonder if some of them are just Palps being cheap rather than the various manipulative forms of torture.
I’ve never thought about it too much much but the Vader lore is sad af. From chosen one to literal slave and puppet of the most evil man in the history of the galaxy.
I think palpatine prohibitied that. He wanted him to be weaker to avoid being overthrown by vader (in return of the Jedi the emperor kills him in a few seconds using his force lighting).

I always thought the suit was made bad on purpose so Vader couldn’t rule of 2 palpatine😂
It’s to bad he didn’t rule longer in the movies only because of his
Uniform of Darth Vader was bad ass to me!! plus when I was a kid this was my Halloween costume
For 4 years and of course grew out of it, I wish I still had it !!! 😊
Great memories of Star Wars
I keep hearing Palpatine saying to himself "I think I'll make him....taller" When putting Anikin in the Darth Vader suit.
@@abyssmage6979It's not surprising at all
A beskar suited Darth Vader would be terrifying.
And yet he was such a formidable opponent
And the dude was still so much better than everyone else he'd fuck around fighting them so he could have a bit of fun.
Darthvader:" I hate everything about, you hate everything about me"
I get it
And dont forget his suit beeps at ramdom intervals to anger vader
he had the ability later to FIX EVERYTHING and he was like naw this shit keeps me angy and angy makes me stronk
In canon it makes sense so Palpatine can control Vader more easily but it obviously really just is a neat region explanation for the old 70ies costume looking like this for effect rather than Lucas having thought through to all of the implications.
When "I'd rather be dead" makes sense
I personally think he got that shit on tho
Palpatine could've given him the most advanced life support suit in the galaxy, but he gave him this hunk of badass junk on purpose
Death Stars aren't cheap.
@DemonicAdj 😂😂
I like to think that one of the things he hated the most was not listening to obi wan
You said he can’t lift his arms above his head, but he lifted the emperor above his head
The sheer fact that he states himself if he wasn’t nerfed so bad he would be a much bigger threat is just crazy.
Thats what you get for shopping at good will.
Goodwills got some heat sometimes😂🤷🏻
My mom said she'd be back from goodwill in a bit, should I be worried
If I’m not wrong his master did it on purpose for 1.failing him and losing his limbs thus lessening his strength and connection to the force making him in his masters eyes ruined and 2. To cause him constant pain which would fuel his hatred and anger thus not only keeping him entrenched in the dark side forever but also boosting his connection with it and its powers
...Past a certain number of terrible design flaws you have to wonder if some of them are just Palps being cheap rather than the various manipulative forms of torture.
My apologies for the rushed suit design my apprentice, but the budget was running low and we had to get the suit done.
To be fair he had to get the suit made on the spot. Also any other suits after that would probably be fatal to get into.
I’ve never thought about it too much much but the Vader lore is sad af.
The chosen boy, so innocent and pure, just wanted to save his slave mom (why couldn’t they have freed his mom at the same time?) then he grows up, gets corrupted by all the bad things that happened to him and then is confined in this prison of a suit which torments him every day.
From chosen one to literal slave and puppet of the most evil man in the history of the galaxy.
And that suit secretly help him train his force to another level
What a way to describe Darth Vader:
“A Man in the shell of a Monster.”
He could have had it fixed .
I think palpatine prohibitied that. He wanted him to be weaker to avoid being overthrown by vader (in return of the Jedi the emperor kills him in a few seconds using his force lighting).
Nah he hates it but it gives him a stronger connection to the dark side for that reason alone he turned down an upgrade that he was offered at one point if I remember right
@@felipereyes1440 correct 100%
@@felipereyes1440 In the 2017 canon Darth Vader comic palpatine straight up tells Vader to upgrade the suit to his liking which Vader does idk what you're talking about sir.
@@troyhouston86732017? So that's disney's fake shit
No wonder he was so strong, man was pure hate
Vader is a great example of deep character exploration and lore building, and how it can be use to a great effect to turn an otherwise flat or uninteresting character into something far more captivating.
Palp: “THE HATE WILL MAKE HIM STRONGAH!”
They just did the bare minimum to keep him in line
Bro all this hate made him powerful
Vader is one of the most iconic and Coolest Characters to exist in Movie History.
"The faces of his loved ones"?! Who? Palpatine?
„I hate this suit it makes people fear me“ *blows up a populated planet*
*palpatine* “Here’s the secret…That’s the point”
one of my favorite headcanons was that Sidious syphoned Padme's life force away to keep Vader alive, but then also made it so it was linked to himself. So when Vader killed Sidious, his life force vanished too.
That makes no sense
@@archmagosdominusbelisarius8836 Yes it does actually, as long as you're not stupid.
@@jackmcmorrow9397 but why would he syphon life force? Like vader lost limbs yes but he was capable of staying alive without any of what you said.. this is why it makes no sense
@@archmagosdominusbelisarius8836 Vader was alive, BECAUSE Sidious was syphoning the life force from padme, hence why he knew where he was on Mustafar and why Padme was dying for no seemingly reason.
and during the scenes where padme is dying while Vader is rebuilt, you can hear a faint heart beating sound that slowly fades out on Padme, but slowly builds up on Anakin.
Sidious never told Anakin that the "ability to prevent people from dying" involved him syphoning the life force from someone and putting it in someone else.
@@jackmcmorrow9397"as long as your not stupid" what? Lol
I wonder why he didn't just get his internal organs put into a cyborg body then become Grievous MK2? That guy is MUCH more mobile.
He'll loose the ability to use the force
His internal organs were burned after the duel
Palpating purposefully used a primitive design for the suit to keep anakain in agony to make him stronger as a sith
"Hey, nobody can see or move in this damn suit!"
"Just write it into the lore, it'll be fine."
Bro knew Vader personally apparently 😂
Maybe DONT side with a psychopath, ya know like a normal person
THATS WHY HE WAS SOO STRONG, BECAUSE HE HATES
That onto of his insanely high misochlorian count made him unstoppable.
There was at least one woman on his ship that disagreed
Who got murdered
yeah she was WEIRD
@@lofi219 aye game is game
His BO inside that suit must have been some powerful funk.
It is good for Darth Vader to have someone like you to confide in. Even Jedi Masters need to vent
It was done intentionally so he couldn't over power the emperor
