It's not a cover, it's an original song by the composer who is playing the piano. He's written a couple of songs for Dimash including Qairan Elim and Omir Oter.

Renat Gaisin (guy on piano) is the composer of this piece. He and Dimash are friends and frequently have friendly jamming sessions. Apparently one of these jamming sessions had Dimash start playing this piece on the dombra and Renat was excited to redo his music with Dimash. So they set about putting it all together in Renat's studio and recording it. The instrumentation is all these two (Dimash on dombra with drums and vocals on the backing track while Renat played the keyboard). Wonderful result that they published on Dimash's UA-cam channel for the Dears. We all love it! 😄🥰

The instrument is not a mandolin. It is a traditional Kazakh instrument called a Dombra. The dombra aka dombyra is a lute-style instrument. It is an ancient and quintessential piece of Kazakh culture and identity. In its most popular form, the dombra has two-strings strung down a long, skinny neck and a pear-shaped body, flat at the front and rounded on the backside.
The instrument is called Dombra. Dimash plays it beautifully.

The pianist is Renat Gaissin and he is also the composer of this song. He worked together with Dimash on the songs Omir Oter and Quairan Elim (in the music video to this song Renat is starring and playing the piano too). I love their collaboration.

Thank you. The 2 stringed instrument is the Dombra. It is 'the heart of Kazakhstan'. Almost every household has one and a good percentage of the population can play it.

Все , что вам не принадлежит вы называете "русским" . Фортепиано , пианино , оргАн , клавесин - это европейские инструменты . В свое время немка Екатерина-2 внедрила в рос.империю европейскую культуру (оперу и бплет) и открыла первый театр , пригласив из Европы итальянцев и французов .
