- Eliz Fulop had just boarded a United flight from Denver to Newark, New Jersey with her husband and their 2-year-old daughter Edaline. Edaline was not wearing a mask, though the airline told the family she was required to wear one. Husband Erhard tries putting a mask on the toddler, but in true 2-year-old fashion, she wasn’t having it. When a crew member told them they had to get off the plane, Eliz was in shock. She says they have flown United four times before during the pandemic without issue. #InsideEdition

Honestly, they shouldn't be flying across the country to see family. Most of the recent growth of COVID infections is the result of so many people traveling to see family for Thanksgiving.

I kept my kids in line while flying. They didn’t kick seats or run up snd down the aisles. I talked to them beforehand and told them what was happening and why. Don’t blame the airline, blame the parents.

It makes me angry when things like this happen cause children at age 1; the age I work with; don't understand the concept of wearing a mask and they'd have trouble keeping it on let alone a 2 year old. We had one child who's 2 test positive for Covid and come right back to school with no mask after he and the rest of that classroom quarantined, and no problems afterword 😤😠🤷🏼♀️

ehhh idk u can argue that the airline is inconsistent with their rules the fact that the family's other flights didn't care to put a mask on the child but im gonna have to say im with the airline here because the parents failed to instill discipline on their child and if they don't understand why they're getting kicked off for the sake of other passengers risking getting the virus (not saying the family is carrying it, there's just a potential they might and they don't know) then it's on them

When I bought my tickets, I read that 2 year olds and up had to wear a mask. So trained my two year old to wear a mask. It took 1 month to do so, but he did. He even loves wearing his face shield.

If a child can get used to wearing a bike helmet for the sake of safety, the child can used to wearing a mask.
It's not about getting used to it. It's the fact that WHO among other things is not for 2 year olds wearing masks.
In fact, the majority of companies / buildings / Airlines do not require two-year-olds to wear masks and there for 2 year olds don't actually need to be get used to wearing a mask.
