It was in remake too, after the first reactor bombing.

This version of Sephiroth sure loves a flashy entrance.
It is more than that, he absorbed THE Meteor… if you played the OG, his main goal was to make the meteor hit the planet…
That’s kinda of big, if it is what it seems to be.

@@Robert99909no it wasn’t? He wanted the meteor to hit the planet so the planet would send TONS of lifestream to try and heal the wound. He would then absorb the entirety of the lifestream and become a god. How tf would one absorb a meteor?

in ff7 advent children it was called "the forgotten city" as i remembered that

Does anyone have a theory on why they did this? This is the one scene of the ending that I don’t really get why it’s exactly the same.
His entrance in Remake was so good, they didn't even bother making a new one😂.
Not exploring this area was a crime

We return in this area in OG. So they'll let us explore in the third part.

“It’s upon us” this whole scene gives me chills. I kept having to play it back on my TV because the visuals were some of the best I’ve ever seen on console and Sephiroth’s delivery was haunting. I try to put myself in the character’s shoes seeing that demon just appear right before them in that manner.

Nah I disagree completely, the music in this game is amazing
Of all the things to criticize, the music has to be far down the list in this game.
@@thatstheway2429 yet we are free too and I'm going to as well. The OG OST is a masterpiece. This area was one of the most memorable. City of the Ancients. The song was made of echoes and it was genius. It instilled awe and fear. This is just flashy.
