    I really appreciate this short lesson. Useful and practical.
    I had been using excited and exciting interchangeably not knowing the difference up until now.

    What I like the most in English - you can change almost every verb into an adjective with an -ed, -ing ending. But there are also some exceptions of the rule. For example, a verb offend: -ed version is offended, but -ing version is offensive. A verb stress: -ed is stressed, -ing is stressful and so on. But the lesson was pretty informative and fun as always) Thank you, Mr. Bob)

    That's a basic relation of things that change (mood [ed adjectives]) and things that don't change (permantent aspects [ing adjectives]). Amazing (permanent aspect, haha) video, Bob! Hello from Recife, the capital of Pernambuco, in the Brazilian Northeast.

    -ed version describes the feeling of people, whereas - ing version describes the situation of the thing or the person that causes that feeling

    Thank you for this helpful lesson! I can tell you the most common mistake French people make related to your topic: they usually say "I am shoking" instead of "I am shoked". Thanks again for clarifying these differences and now it is pretty clear!

    Thanks bob for your informative videos. I just wanted to say that in informal English, we can use adjectives ending in -ing for people. Learners do that to describe people and i don't correct them for this because it's understandable for me.

    For that reason "ed" in Spanish is the verb "estar", and "ing" is the verb "ser". The English verb "to be" can be traslated as "estar o ser" depending the feeling or the cause of the feeling.
