- Went on a vacation to meet up with lots of fellow creators and movie fans. Before actually meeting up though we made a quick stop at this store in Johnson City, TN. Overall pretty solid store.
Great pickups. Looks like a awesome store. Fastlane is definitely a scoop. Nice find on that one
I was so pumped to find Fastlane. Heck of a deal too.
Very nice and you are right, The store looks huge. Could be for hours there checking everything out. Looks like a really good store with good prices. Enjoy your trip.
If we weren’t on a time crunch we would’ve spent so much longer digging around looking.
That hardcover of Christine was such a beauty! 🚗🔥💀
Absolutely agree!!! I’d like nice hardcovers of all King books.
Great trip guys, you have such a choice in the US for collectors like us, you are so lucky !! Thank you so much for sharing , greetings from Spain!!!!
Saludos chaval!👍
Looks l I need to make a trip to this one.. it’s only 5 1/2 hours away lmao😅.Picture quality of the video was great by the way
My goal is to sell yall on that camera lol
I need to check out those posters
Awesome store! Great job with the Fast Lane series. If that high online, then great deal for sure for the copy in the wild. Good job pacing yourselves for the other stores.
Amazing selection of t shows and movies great
Awesome video
Thank you!!
Please Show Off Your The Dead Don't Die Poster ...Soon ! Love the movie Curious to see what it Looks Like 😊
You’ll definitely see it in a future video!
Definitely some great scoops from Mr Ks. That Fastlane set, though. 👌
Tennessee wow
I need more kino lober movies
Nice pickups Tim! If I'm ever in Johnson City, TN I will have to check that place out.
I would LOVE it if we had that store here in NY State. We had a thrift store in town but I guess there was some kind of family emergency so they closed after 1984 I think it was.
Wow that place was stocked so many titles. Around here there used to be a few second hand stores but they all closed down with the pandemic. Now there's only one small Goodwill and a Walmart that's it. Anyway good hunting and cool video Tim!👉🙂👈
Looks like they had a great selection at that location. That is always the hardest thing holding off on too many purchases at a first stop on a trip with more stores to hit!
It’s always soooo hard to resist at the first store.
We use to have a Mr K's in Oak Ridge, but it closed about 3 years ago. It actually started as a McKays Used Books and CDs. Of course the go to for me is still The McKays in Knoxville. Maybe you can make the trip to KVille sometime.
The McKays in Knoxville was a fun time. Lots of good places in that general area.
I just love stores like this. I would totally beef up my collection if I had access.
Wow, that store was much better than the Asheville location. They had Everwood!!!
Yeah definitely better than the other location.
The Dead Don’t Die - UHH! But that location looked excellent!
lol
Thanks Tim
ive been to the Mr K’s in North Charleston a few times but unfortunately they closed down last summer. sad to see it go.
It’s a fun store. Sorry yours closed down though. Always a bummer when that happens.
@@timtalkstalkies yeh i work on a show in that area every year and am
heading down soon and it just wont be the same without Mr K’s. But the good news is in Charleston Monster Music lives on!
Was that a former Barnes & Noble? The exterior gives that vibe!
It totally does give that look, but I’m not sure.
We used to have a Mr Ks in North Charleston South Carolina I bought prob a couple thousand from there. Sadly they closed 😢
Bummer they closed. Always sucks when that happens.
great video
Thank you!!
You seem like very nice people, hopefully you will consider this. Jesus is the name of my Lord and Savior, so when you use His name like an expletive, it hurts.
Sorry if it’s caused any offense. I never say it with Ill intent, but I’m very very far away from religious so it’s not a thought that crosses my mind. I never mean to disrespect others views though.
